Brad Pitt has been presented with an award in acknowledgement of the green credentials his housing project in New Orleans has. The BBC wrote this morning that the actor revealed at Bill Clinton's Global Initiative summit in New York that the project has “exceeded my expectations”.

His Make It Right organisation constructed 13 homes in an area of the city that had been ravaged by hurricane Katrina in 2005.
