Truth on Celebs: Ricky Gervais & the sad "woke" Prince

Recommended Posts

Meghan believes all the Lefty Progressive BS from Hollywood (apparently)

...and pushes it on poor weak Harry.

The Royal family is having none of that.  So they have spit her out, and Harry along with her.

Now Meg & Harry can go back and live in her swamp, without the benefit of Royal family money.

It will be fun watching her leftwing dreams of Royalty & international influence fall apart.

(AOC may be meeting her own fate at the same time, so these Icarus females may fall together.)

AOC backs 'vulnerable' Meghan Markle after the Duchess broke down on camera describing life in the spotlight

  • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gave Meghan Markle a 'shout out' on Friday
  • Praised Meghan for speaking of her difficulties living in the media spotlight
  • 'The people who treat you like a human make all the difference,' AOC said
  • The Duchess of Sussex said she has found the focus on herself a struggle
  • Prince Harry also revealed that everything he does reminds him of his mother
  • Harry & Meghan: An African Journey due for broadcast on Sunday at 9pm on IT

. . . **( Meghan wrapped herself in motherhood & female vulnerability,

without addressing the real issues about what was the 'Challenge' she was facing.)**

Meghan's emotional moment came while she was speaking to ITN News At Ten anchor Tom Bradby for an ITV programme filmed during her and Prince Harry's Africa tour in September.

Asked about the impact the intense public scrutiny has had on her 'physical and mental health' and how Harry is being 'protective' of her after what happened to his mother, she replies: 'Look, any woman especially when they are pregnant you're really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging, and then when you have a new born – you know…

And especially as a woman, it's a lot.

'So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed it's, well…'

She continues: 'Also thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I'm OK. But it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.'

Tom asks her: 'And the answer is, would it be fair to say, not really OK, as in it's really been a struggle?' Meghan, visibly upset, then replies: 'Yes.'

TELLING the TRUTH, about Meghan & Harry... and Wokeness

Question Time panellist Laurence Fox: "The wokeists are fundamentally a racist bunch."

"the British are TIRED of being told they are Racist" (good-bye Meg-Woke!)

/ 2 /

The Dangerous Rise Of Men Who Won’t Date “Woke” Women

Vicky Spratt
Refinery 29 UK

The word “irrespective” means saying or doing something without taking anything else into account. For example: “Irrespective of the fact that the cost of living has jumped, putting pressure on many people, the government ploughed on with Brexit and argued that there would be no real economic impact.”

So it is fitting that white man of the moment, Laurence Fox – who appeared on the BBC’s Question Time programme and told a BAME audience member that Meghan Markle has not been on the receiving end of racism before subsequently appearing on the cover of The Sunday Times to tell the world that he does not “date woke women” and then displaying an appalling understanding of history by calling the inclusion of a Sikh soldier in Sam Mendes’ film 1917 “incongruous” – has “irrespective” tattooed on his arm.

Did you hear that at the back, ladies? Laurence Fox – who you perhaps only knew as Billie Piper’s ex-husband because you’ve never seen Lewis (what?) – does not date “woke” women who he believes are being taught that they are “victims”, irrespective of whether they are right or not. He thinks that it’s “institutionally racist” to tell the story of the First World War in a racially diverse way, irrespective of the fact that Sikh soldiers absolutely fought for Britain. And he also doesn’t believe in white privilege, irrespective of the fact that he works in a painfully undiverse industry, was privately educated and comes from a wealthy acting family which is nothing short of a dynasty.

. . .

There’s nothing funny about the things Fox – or Wokey McWokeface as he now wants to be known – is saying. It’s also not particularly sad. It’s dangerous. He is just one very privileged man, and as a result of said privilege, has been given a platform. And he has used that platform to legitimise a bigger backlash against diversity and progress which is unfolding every single day in less public corners of the internet.

Not wanting to date “woke” women, far from being laughable, is actually one of the more insidious aspects of it. Spend an afternoon on any major dating app and you’ll come across (generally white) men saying openly sexist and misogynistic things. They might say “no psychos” or that they “fucking hate big eyebrows” in their bios. And, by and large, they also tend to hold extremely right-wing views and see themselves as victims of liberal thinking.

Starting to wear thin on a lot of people is the Meg coverage, kind of who cares? Really, who does, few grannies and women outraged, maybe his mates but most people, big yawn! It’s more important to the press who think we are interested I reckon..

Something does tell me though, the U.K is better off without her, than with her; just a gut feel. She’s no Kate, who seems to be blending into the family, “role” and whole royal “thing”.

Grow Up, Royals & PAY UP !

(might be one of the few times when "Woke" young people are asked to behave like adults.)

Canadians petition for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to pay security costs: 'Part of giving up royal life is paying their own bills'

The couple recently visited Canada House in London to thank the country for its hospitality: Getty

Thousands of Canadians have signed a petition demanding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pay for their own security costs, amid mounting concern the country could be saddled with a bill costing millions of dollars.

Since the couple announced they were giving up formal royal duties and public money, they have been holed up in a $20m private mansion on a secluded cove on Canada’s Victoria Island.

When they leave the property they are escorted by a number of bodyguards, several of whom are British. In recent days, the guards have also been filming cars driving past, many of them belonging to international media.

Prime minister Justin Trudeau has to date failed to say what agreements have been made to cover such costs.

Reports in the UK media say he told the Queen that Canada would foot the bill, but Mr Trudeau told Canadian reporters this week: “I have not spoken to Her Majesty directly. Discussions continue to be ongoing and I have no updates at this moment.”

Campaigners behind an online petition calling on the royal couple to pay their own costs said they had gathered at least 90,000 signatures. The petition, addressed to Mr Trudeau, reads: “Canadians wish the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, all the best as they seek financial independence. That goal is important because Canadian taxpayers shouldn’t have to cover the couple’s bills.”

. . .

“In the last two weeks I received lots of phone calls from people saying the couple were welcome here, but that they did not want to pay for them,” said Mr Wudrick.

“I think in recent weeks, that feeling has become more clear. Canada is a welcoming country, but some people excited they are here are viewing them as wealthy celebrities, rather than official members of the royal family where there is a protocol.”

He added: “They are coming here because they want to leave the royal family, but part of that is paying their own bills.”

Earlier month, the Globe and Mail quoted security experts who suggested the annual cost of protecting Harry, Meghan and their eight-month-old son Archie, could reach C$10m (£5.8m).

The point made in Mr Wudrich’s petition, first reported by the New York Post, was echoed by many residents in the part of Vancouver Island where the royal couple are living. While having offered them a warm welcome, and even helping them avoid media scrutiny, there is a view Canadians should not pay.

“I think the point is, they are either private citizens or members of the royal family,” said Bruce Welsh, 70, a former musician and radio show host in Sidney. “If they are private citizens, they should not need security guards. Either way, Canada should not be paying.”

Era of Celebrity is Dead...

LEAD line, from this article:

"Come friendly bombs and fall on Hollywood, it isn’t fit for doing good." wow!

Come friendly bombs and fall on Hollywood, it isn’t fit for doing good. Another year, another dreadful Oscars, another round of moral lectures from the beautiful people. It’s all so tiresome. The only reason most people pay attention to these irritating award ceremonies is precisely so that they can be irritated.

So there was a vegan theme at this year’s Academy Awards. So the show had no host. So Brad Pitt is angry about impeachment. So someone said ‘workers of the world unite’. So Joaquin Phoenix is mad (in all senses) about what mankind is doing to the animal kingdom. So Natalie Portman, in what she called ‘my subtle way’, had the names of the women directors who weren’t nominated for awards sewn into her dress.

So what? All these people are ridiculous. Nothing they say makes any difference to anything. Actors are increasingly aware, thanks in part to Ricky Gervais’s wonderful ribbing of them at the Golden Globes, that nobody cares what they think. At some unconscious level, these actors must know that they don’t really know anything about politics or the real world. They can’t admit this to themselves, of course, human nature being what it is, so they double down. They convince themselves that any angry reaction to their moralizing is an indication that they have dared to speak truth. How brave they are! And so the infuriating cycle continues. Actors end up almost trolling the public, and the public trolls them back on social media.

WHAT do they suppose would make THEM Royal?  Other than their pretensions?

Standing up to the Queen!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stunned fans last month when the couple announced they would be stepping back as senior members of the royal family. On Friday, the pair's spokesperson confirmed that, as a part of this plan, the Duke and Duchess will refrain from using the word "royal" or "Sussex Royal" brand in any capacity going forward, citing "specific UK government rules" as the reason.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use 'Sussex Royal' in any territory post-Spring 2020," the spokesperson told People magazine.

But in a more lengthy post on Harry and Meghan's official website, the pair detail exactly how the transition will take place while also insisting that  the Queen does not have any ownership over the term "Royal."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry release 'saddening' details of post-royal life, withdraw trademark applications for 'Sussex'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released extensive details on their post-royal future, including a “saddening” split from Buckingham Palace staff and clarification on the ownership of “Sussex Royal.”

“We are pleased to now be able to share with you an update on many of the details agreed at a meeting of The Royal Family in January 2020, which outlines The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new roles, taking effect Spring 2020,” read the statement posted to the couple’s website Sussex Royal on Friday night.

Regarding their plans to run a non-profit organization, the couple wrote, “...Given the specific UK government rules surrounding use of the word ‘Royal’, it has been therefore agreed that their non-profit organization will not utilize the name ‘Sussex Royal’ or any other iteration of ‘Royal.’”

The couple, who withdrew relevant trademark applications, added, “While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020.”

But moving on doesn’t mean that Harry loses his place in line to the throne — after Queen Elizabeth is no longer head of the monarchy, she’s followed by her son Prince Charles, 71, her grandson Prince William, 37, and her great-grandson Prince George, 6. After George, his siblings Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1 follow, leaving Harry in 6th place.

And while Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, will no longer be on royal call, they will maintain their patronages, even royals ones. Harry is notably connected to the Invictus Games foundation in Toronto for which Jon Bon Jovi will record a song called “Unbroken” on February 28. And Markle’s causes include Smart Works which provides free clothing and job training to underprivileged women and Mayhew, an animal charity.

Piers Morgan Rips Prince Harry’s Hoax Phone Call Comments: ‘It’s One Long Whine’

On Wednesday, “Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan ripped Great Britain’s Prince Harry after comments Harry reportedly made during a phone call with two hoaxers who pretended to be teenage environmental activist Greta Thunberg and her father were released.

. . .

Morgan commented, “It’s one long whine, he seems very unhappy about almost everything. It’s very defensive; it’s very aggressive about the media, about other things.  It’s very woke and it’s all about I’m here to save the world with my wife; it’s us against the world; it’s us against everybody. There’s something going on; there’s an inner turmoil with Harry which comes through in this hoax story. Look, he got hoaxed; I’m not going to blame him for being hoaxed by someone he thought was Greta Thunberg.”
The Daily Mail reported that Morgan continued, “We shouldn’t judge him on a hoax call but it’s indicative of his kind of mindset … It reveals a kind of mindset about Harry which is kind of sad
