Boris Wins. Now Brexit?

Recommended Posts

HA bloody Ha

Exit poll shows Boris Johnson STORMING home: Sensational prediction has Tories winning historic Brexit election with a stonking majority of EIGHTY-SIX and Labour with its worst result for decades as 'red wall' crumbles

Amid reports of 'mega' turnout and unprecedented levels of tactical voting by Remainers, Tories had become increasingly nervous that victory could somehow slip from their grasp, despite a slew of polls during the campaign having given them a double-digit advantage.

But the fears seem to be unfounded, as the party's mantra of 'get Brexit done' swung previously staunch Labour supporters.

The pound immediately jumped 3 per cent against the US dollar on the news, as markets breathed a sigh of relief at the prospect of clarity on Brexit and no anti-business Labour government.

For the first time in my life, I did not vote in a UK general election (and I first voted in 1983). I was so unimpressed by the range of dysfunctional choices that I simply could not bring myself to do it. The propensity for the English to vote Tory (Conservative) simply amazes me. The vast majority of those who vote Tory are being taken for a ride by a clique of smug cynics in the south of England (the "Private State"). Unless you went to a top public school (private school to those outside UK), attended Oxbridge, socialise in a London club, work in the City, and/or are a member of an Inn of Court or are a top civil servant, you have absolutely no reason to vote Tory. Indeed, it is dead against your interests, since the practice of Toryism is to coax ordinary people in debt, cars and heavily mortgaged houses in order to raise the fixed costs of living. In this way, the Private State can extract rents whilst confounding the potential for workers to fight back through industrial action. It's perfectly obvious, but the English are apparently dumb enough to buy it.

An interesting situation now arises. It is more blatant than ever that England, Scotland and Northern Ireland are distinct countries that wish to go their own separate ways. No doubt Johnson will get Brexit through as he promised, but it will be at the cost of the end of the UK.

Interesting perspective.

Maybe the National interest can be resurrected, at the level of the United Kingdom.  we will see

I’m not really politically interested, as most politicians seem vile, self serving individuals with little respect for those they serve in the interests of pursuing their own agendas.

However, I was quite impressed with Alan Johnson’s attack of the Labour far left and Corbynistas that went way too far off the scale to anywhere near challenge the Boris factor Brexit led Tory campaign. He savaged Jon Lansman and his Momentum led takeover of Labour.

There lies the problem for U.K politics, no credible opposition whatever your political persuasion. Personally I just wish they would all crawl under a rock a few months, because the pathetic attempts of getting brexit sorted have been shambolic ever since Cameron took his ball home and clueless May sought a political mandate to deliver. 3 years of wasted hot air and ineptness, no wonder U.K politics lacks trust.

So many clowns in that House, yet unless Labour change, the Conservatives will have a free hit for a good while in my opinion.

Shattered dreams of global far-left revolution...

Exclusive–Ortiz: Boris Johnson Election Victory Bad News for Democrats

Boris Johnson’s dominant election victory in the U.K. national election this week is great news for the U.S., yet terrible news for the Democratic Party.

Defying the pundits, Johnson romped to a majority government in the biggest conservative victory since Lady Thatcher in the 1980s. The win was just the latest for the silent majority that wants good governance in contrast to the bellicose activists who desire socialism.

Like midwestern voters in the U.S. in 2016, working-class voters in the economically-distressed industrial areas of Northern England — traditionally a Labour Party constituency — pulled the lever for a Conservative Party that will give them a hand up not a handout. The Labour Party was decimated, winning its fewest seats since 1935.

The outcome should make Democrats nervous. The Labour Party candidate, Jeremy Corbyn, is a socialist who promised to nationalize vast swaths of the U.K. economy. He enjoys support from adolescents, activists, and actors but not ordinary workers. He’s a dour and depressing curmudgeon. In other words, he would be right at home in the Democratic presidential primary field.

Joe Biden has already trumpeted the results to argue that a radical leftist cannot win a national election. “Look what happens,” he said, when you move “so, so far to the left.” And yet the Democratic presidential candidates continue to trip over themselves to see who can get farthest to the left on taxes, healthcare, education, regulations, and energy.

The growing number of suburban voters who will determine the next election are centrists, not socialists. They want a good economy to provide for their families and pay off their mortgages. By sucking trillions of dollars from these communities in the form of tax increases and burdening local businesses with over-regulation, the Democratic Party threatens the economic growth to which they have become accustomed thanks to Trump.

Delingpole: If Boris Can’t Counter the Red Menace in Education, This Is the Last Ever Conservative Government

Delingpole: If Boris Can’t Counter Red Menace, This Is Last Ever Conservative Government

My biggest disappointment with the British general election result is that it has denied us the exquisite pleasure of watching young Corbyn voters being reduced to eating their household pets.

Had Jeremy Corbyn’s Marxists won — as so many 18-24-year-old voters hoped — it would, of course, have been a disaster for Britain.

But at least it would have proved a salutary lesson to all those university-brainwashed kids who think the only problem with communism is that hasn’t been tried properly yet.

“Well we did warn you!” we could have said to Araminta in her tattered ‘Fuck Boris’ t-shirt, as she tucked ruefully into her pony Che. “Now you know what fully automated luxury communism tastes like.”

This isn’t a joke, either.

Just have a look at this terrifying map of how the General Election result would have turned out based on the 18- to 24-year-old vote.

( check stats in link)

So what is to be done to counter the menace of our home-grown Red Guard?

This question will, I hope, be among the highest priorities of the new Boris Johnson administration. It jolly well ought to be. What, after all, will be the point of all the economy-boosting, life-enhancing measures  Boris has got planned for Britain in the next four years, if they’re going to be undone in 2023 by a new Red Surge?

And the answer surely starts with educational reform.

Pip-squeak Corbin is an Unpatriotic SJW... He is about to go into history's dustbin, where he belongs

'A weak, self-regarding, pious man': Former Labour minister's extraordinary attack on Jeremy Corbyn

719efab0-1d68-11ea-8d5f-d816e0fc5e77

“But the main problem at this election wasn’t the manifesto; the main problem was Corbyn. A weak, self-regarding, pious man incapable of leadership.”

Mr Johnson then went on to claim Mr Corbyn failed to appeal to working class communities that had consistently put trust in Labour.

He wrote: “The working classes looked at Corbyn and saw somebody who was unpatriotic to the extent that the country’s enemies were his friends. They hated his pacifism, his simplistic division of the world between evil oppressors and their victims, his disdain of aspiration.

“Most of all, they didn’t recognise themselves in Corbyn’s depiction of working-class people as having no individual identity, only a collective role as part of the downtrodden masses. They decided well before this election and irrespective of Brexit that they would never let him cross the threshold of 10 Downing Street.”

Too much talk about this loser Corbyn. When the Jews are against him you know what's inevitably coming for him and the Labour party. The British Jews wield a lot of political influence here.

Disappointed that Farage was made to play the useful idiot here. Glory days of Brexit party already finished?

THE REAL UK RASCISTS are the ones who...

Think THIS image is racist

ac6b37f0-20c7-11ea-bbfe-5e895a1d9ae1

And not simply a CALL FOR MORE FAIRNESS, in racial matters.  (Let's EXPOSE their extreme bigotry!)

Racist posters which appeared in city centre condemned

The posters appeared across the city of Perth (Perth Against Racism)

A series of racist posters which read “It’s ok to be white” have been condemned after appearing in Perth city centre.

Campaign group Perth Against Racism posted photos of the posters which were put up across the Scottish city over the weekend.

The slogan originated in the US where it was adopted by neo-Nazi groups and white supremacists as a backlash against “woke” culture.

Perth Against Racism said they had spoken to a non-white resident who said the posters had made the city “feel unsafe for all people who are not white”.

Neo-Nazis?
Nope.  Normal people also might post those > People who want to end FAVORTISM for non-whites,

and BIGOTRY against Whites

===

“Let's get these down folks,” the group posted on Facebook.

“Show that we are a welcoming and diverse city. Have seen quite a lot ripped off already.

(This just shows that FB is now in fact : Fascist-Book.)

"WE ARE AT AN END OF THIS PROJECT !"

"...NO MORE BULLYING!"  (mic was cut)

MUST WATCH 📺 |

@Nigel_Farage goes out in style, giving the European bureaucrats one last hammering in his farewell speech.

He's even cut off for waving our national flag - the European Union doesn't take too kindly to national pride! Cheerio!

Firmly establishing the position of Brexit in the ongoing power struggle across many nations globally, Mr Farage also made clear Britain leaving the European Union was a populist revolt — invoking the Presidency of Donald Trump and other global developments without mentioning them by name. He said: “There is a historic battle going on across the west, in Europe, America, and elsewhere. It is globalism against populism. And you may loathe populism, but I’ll tell you a funny thing. It is becoming very popular! And it has great benefits.”

Yet as he was making his final remarks on looking forward to Britain working with Europe in the future as a sovereign state, the chair of the session cut off Mr Farage’s microphone because he was holding a small, desk-size British flag above his head as he spoke. Clearly angered by the violation of a new European Parliament rule that bans the presence of any national flag or banner, the chair seemed to have been goaded into a strongly worded response and said: “Please sit down, resume your seats and put your flags away. You’re leaving, and take them with you if you’re leaving now. Goodbye.”

Despite having had his microphone turned off, Mr Farage could be heard responding in the chamber: “That’s it, it’s all over. It’s finished, we’re gone!”

GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK TOADS!

European Parliament Votes For Brexit Deal,

The Final Rubber Stamp Before Britain Leaving Bloc Friday

The European Union’s Parliament has rubber-stamped the withdrawal agreement agreed between Brussels and London, a largely symbolic move which means the last administrative hurdle has been cleared before the United Kingdom departs the European Union on Friday night.

European Parliament President David Sassoli signed the withdrawal agreement on behalf of its members after the chamber consented to the document Wednesday evening, having voted 621 in favour to 49 against, with 13 abstentions. He said he would give the document to the European Commission for the final administrative work for Brexit to take place on Thursday, before the United Kingdom formally withdraws at midnight — Brussels time — on Friday.
