Adam Schiff has 2 aides who worked with whistleblower at White House

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff recruited two former National Security Council aides who worked alongside the CIA whistleblower at the NSC during the Obama and Trump administrations, the Washington Examiner has learned.

Abigail Grace, who worked at the NSC until 2018, was hired in February, while Sean Misko, an NSC aide until 2017, joined Schiff's committee staff in August, the same month the whistleblower submitted his complaint.

The whistleblower was an NSC official who worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and who has expertise in Ukraine, the Washington Examiner has reported.

A career CIA analyst with Ukraine expertise, the whistleblower aired his concerns about a phone conversation between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to a House Intelligence Committee aide on Schiff’s staff. He had previously informed the CIA’s legal counsel's office.

Schiff initially denied he knew anything about the complaint before it was filed, stating on Sep. 17: “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to."

But it later emerged that a member of his staff had spoken to the whistleblower before his complaint was submitted on Aug. 12. The Washington Post concluded that Schiff "clearly made a statement that was false."

Grace, 36, was hired to help Schiff’s committee investigate the Trump White House. That month, Trump accused Schiff of "stealing people who work at White House." Grace worked at the NSC from 2016 to 2018 in U.S.-China relations and then briefly at the Center for a New American Security think tank, which was founded by two former senior Obama administration officials.

A Schiff aide commented in February: "We have hired staff for a variety of positions, including the committee's oversight work and its investigation.

Schiff: Public Has No Right To Observe Impeachment Inquiry...

Then Kicks GOP Lawmaker Out

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) says that the public shouldn't be allowed to observe hearings in the ongoing impeachment inquiry, as doing so may allow Republicans to then "fabricate testimony" (and totally not because their case is falling apart).

Schiff Says Congress May Not Need To Interview Whistleblower After All

Rep. Adam Schiff said Sunday that the House Intelligence Committee might not need to interview the CIA analyst who filed a whistleblower complaint against President Donald Trump, a reversal for the Democrat, who has come under fire for failing to disclose the whistleblower’s contacts with his office.

Schiff acknowledged he initially supported the whistleblower testifying about the Aug. 12 complaint, which centered on a July 25 phone call Trump had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Given that we already have the call record, we don’t need the whistleblower who wasn’t on the call to tell us what took place during the call, we have the best evidence of that,” Schiff said on “Face the Nation.” “It may not be necessary to take steps that might reveal the whistleblower’s identity to do that, and we’re going to make sure we protect that whistleblower.”

TRUMP COULD BE IMPEACHED BASED ON THE TESTIMONY OF A PARADE OF “WHISTLEBLOWERS” THAT DON’T EVEN TESTIFY IN PERSON

This “impeachment inquiry” is becoming more shady with each passing day.

Nancy Pelosi won’t even take a vote in the House to officially approve this “impeachment inquiry” because she is convinced that such a vote is not needed. But as White House Counsel Pat Cipollone has aptly noted, the lack of a vote “violates fundamental fairness and constitutionally mandated due process”. And now we are learning that the original whistleblower is asking if he can “submit testimony in writing instead of appearing in person”, which would likely mean that we may never found out the identify of this individual. So we could potentially be facing a scenario in which the House of Representatives actually impeaches the president of the United States based on “testimony” from an anonymous source that they never actually get to see face to face.

ATTITUDE of CNN seems to match schiff's

O’Keefe Strikes Again! Undercover Video Shows CNN Production Supervisor Wishing For Trump’s Death, ‘Hopefully He Dies Soon’

Project Veritas unveiled Part 3 of its #ExposeCNN series on Thursday.

CNN conceded on video they are “left leaning” but don’t want to openly admit it.

O’Keefe also caught CNN Field Production Supervisor Gerald Sisnette wishing for President Trump’s death.

“This is a story that’s not gonna go away,” Mr. Sisnette said.

“Oh the Ukraine thing? Or just Trump in general?” the CNN whistleblower asked.

“Trump in general. The only way this will go away is when he [Trump] dies. Hopefully soon,” Gerald Sisnette said.

Democrats Released Their ‘Impeachment Resolution’ And It’s Absolute Garbage

House Democrats released their “impeachment resolution” today, which purports to lay out fair rules involving the ongoing “impeachment inquiry.” The weird thing is seeing some “conservatives” run to Twitter to frame this move by Democrats as calling a Republican bluff. As you’ll see, it does nothing of the sort.

I’m not going to go through the entire thing, as it’s eight pages long, but you can reference it in its full length here. You only need to see a few parts of it to realize that nothing has really changed and that all the same complaints being made by Republicans still exist.

Sean Davis breaks down some of the most important parts, not the least of which is that this isn’t even an actual impeachment resolution. Instead, it references the previous investigation, which doesn’t even legally exist.

This Pelosi non-impeachment resolution is hilarious. It goes out of its way to avoid authorizing a specific investigation and delegation of authority and instead repeatedly references an "investigation" that under the rules of the House doesn't even exist. https://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20191028/BILLS-116-HRes660.pdf

Pelosi's resolution references "the existing House of Representatives inquiry," but no such House of Representatives investigation exists, because the House of Representatives never authorized one. And this resolution doesn't either.

Has the Fake Whistleblower already been outed? (how about the "stone treatment" for him" & shiffy too)

Hmmm: Whistleblower’s attorneys break off negotiations with House — and threaten the media

schiff-stare.jpeg

Looks like we won’t have the Ukraine-Gate whistleblower to kick around in the impeachment follies after all. Despite his touching off the latest scandal for Democrats’ use in their years-long effort to remove Donald Trump from the presidency, attorneys representing the career CIA analyst have broken off negotiations for his appearance in both the House and the Senate. That may not end up being the last word if this goes to a trial, however:

A source familiar with the discussions told the Washington Examiner that talks halted over potential testimony from the whistleblower and there is no discussion of testimony from a second whistleblower, who supported the first’s claims.

“There is no indication that either of the original whistleblowers will be called to testify or appear before the Senate or House Intelligence committees. There is no further discussion ongoing between the legal team and the committees,” the person said.

The whistleblower is a career CIA officer with expertise in Ukraine policy who served on the White House National Security Council during the Obama administration, when 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden was “point man” for Ukraine, and during the early months of the Trump administration.

Schiff spokesman Patrick Boland did not respond to requests for comment. “I’m not aware of any discussions” on having the whistleblower testify, said a House Republican source familiar with the inquiry.

The Washington Examiner’s Steven Nelson points out that this is quite a turnaround from six weeks ago. At that time, Adam Schiff declared that the whistleblower was only awaiting “guidance from the Acting DNI” to testify.

Ever since then, however, questions have arisen about contacts between Schiff and/or his staff and the whistleblower prior to his complaint, as well as the whistleblower’s connections to potential Donald Trump challengers in the 2020 election. It didn’t help matters to have Schiff lie about the former, and rumors about connections to Joe Biden keep coming up.

Some outlets, including our sister site RedState, have published the name of the suspected whistleblower. I’m not sure we’ve seen enough conclusive evidence to settle on the person being mentioned, although he does seem to fit all of the parameters known about the whistleblower. The whistleblower’s attorneys released a statement today warning that media outlets and reporters would be held “personally liable” for any harm that befalls their client after being outed.

Human garbage belongs in the Bin of History ... for the damage he has done to the country

image.png

Eric Ciaramella (pronounced char-a-MEL-ah).

Real Clear Investigation’s (RCI) Paul Sperry has revealed the name of the young man he believes is the Ukraine “whistleblower.” If true, and Sperry makes an extremely compelling case, I suppose he is no longer a whistleblower. A better description might be “person of interest.”

Apparently, all of Washington has known his name for quite some time. I first heard his name as one of three possibilities a couple of weeks ago. And last weekend, an OANN report revealed his identity. His name is Eric Ciaramella (pronounced char-a-MEL-ah). He is a 33-year-old CIA analyst who once worked for (drumroll please)…former CIA Director John Brennan.

Sperry wrote a detailed piece about Ciaramella which can be viewed here.

Excerpts from Sperry’s report:

* Ciaramella is a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

* Ciaramella left his National Security Council posting in the White House’s West Wing in mid-2017 amid concerns about negative leaks to the media. He has since returned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

* “He was accused of working against Trump and leaking against Trump,” said a former NSC official.

Steve Scalise Reveals All the Ways Adam Schiff Can Cheat in Impeachment Hearings

steve-scalise-adam-schiff-getty-640x480.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is empowered to block testimony from Republican-called witnesses within ongoing “impeachment inquiry” hearings held by the House Intelligence Committee he chairs, explained Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), in a Thursday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Scalise pointed to “impeachment inquiry procedures” laid out in a House resolution giving Schiff the ability to reject witnesses proposed by the Republican minority.

“There are sections of the resolution that allow the [Adam Schiff] to literally have veto power over Republican witnesses,” Scalise noted. “There’s a section in the resolution that allows the chairman to literally kick the president’s legal counsel out of the room out of the room if he so chooses, not because there has been some wrong that was done, [but] just because, all at the whim of the chairman.”

‘Nation’s leading impeachment lawyer’ Ross Garber says Pelosi, Schiff’s impeachment process a path to disaster for them

It’s never a good thing when a man who has been called the ‘nation’s leading impeachment lawyer’ is warning you that your impeachment process is a path to disaster.
But knowing Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, neither of them will likely pay any attention to Ross Garber’s ‘warning’.

An impeachment process that is perceived as partisan is a win for Trump.
Pelosi, Schiff and their surrogates need to appeal to moderate Rs. But they are still preaching to the converted.
That’s a path to disaster for them.

In other words, good luck with that whole impeachment thing, Democrats. The only people who agree with their impeachment of the president already ‘hate’ him … they’re not convincing the masses or changing public opinion. And the more they play political games the worse they look.

‘Absent Yourself’: Adam Schiff And Matt Gaetz Had Heated Exchange During Impeachment Deposition

November 08, 2019

The transcript of a deposition given in October in the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump shows a heated exchange between Reps. Matt Gaetz and Adam Schiff, the California Democrat overseeing the impeachment push.

The argument took place early on in the Oct. 14 deposition of Fiona Hill, who served as the top White House adviser on Russia issues until July. A transcript of the deposition released Friday indicates that Gaetz, a Florida Republican, bust into the deposition room in Kool-Aid man-like fashion to protest that members of the House Judiciary Committee were not allowed to take part in the proceedings.

Schiff ordered Gaetz to “absent yourself” from the room. Gaetz protested and received support from GOP Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, the ranking member of the oversight committee, which is one of the three committees taking part in the impeachment proceedings.

At one point during the tiff, Schiff said he would deduct from the time allotted to Republicans to question Hill because of Gaetz’s intrusion.

“Mr. Gaetz, you’re not permitted to be in the room,” Schiff said, according to the transcript.

“I am on the judiciary committee,” Gaetz shot back.Schiff replied that the judiciary committee was not a part of the hearing.

“I thought the judiciary committee has jurisdiction over impeachment,” said Gaetz.

“Mr. Gaetz, you’re not permitted to be in the room. Please leave,” said Schiff.

Jordan interjected to defend Gaetz.

“Mr. Chairman, really?” asked Jordan.

“Yes, really,” the Democrat responded.

“You’re going to include members of Congress on committees that have roles of impeachment,” Gaetz continued.

“Mr. Gaetz, take your statement to the press,” Schiff said. “They do you no good here. So please, absent yourself.”
