drbubb
LEFTISM... is really about Virtue-signaling using other people's money Like Margaret Thatcher said: "The problem with Socialism is... Sooner or Later you run out of Other People's Money" Classic examples are: + Students, who do not yet have income, or + Females or Minorities who took degrees in "grievance" fields, like Womans Studies, Black Studies, & Gender studies, find that they cannot get a job paying a decent salary) (the whiny b/tch, O-Castro, who 'accidentally' got elected to Congress is a perfect example of the later: She virtue-signals on EVERYTHING without having a single clue about how the economy really works.) These people then want to BOOST TAXES on those who are working hard in challenging jobs and are making a good income. The money will then be used for government programs to "help" those who are unemployed. or on low incomes, even if the reason that they are in such a state is because of flecklessness or poor choices. Essentially, Leftists want to avoid responsibility & gain power through the State while enslaving hard-working "Normies" who pay the taxes. (check out the percentage of taxes paid by males.) Kitco News U.S. Stocks Plunge As Trade War Concerns Return Gold’s Safe-Haven Status Gary Wagner Dec 7 / Guest(s): Bill Baruch President, Blue Line Futures / Gold will see renewed strength as a safe haven asset following the next December rate hike from the Federal Reserve, said Bill Baruch, president of Blue Line Futures. On palladium, Baruch said that new regulations in the U.S. may create more demand for catalytic converters in automobiles, which is bullish for the metal. “You may have to see through a bit of pain the first quarter of next year, if the global market has a bit of uncertainty, but I think if you manage your risks to the downside, palladium, building up a position in the first quarter of next year, is going to be a tremendous gain throughout 2019,” Baruch told Kitco News. . . . As reported by MarketWatch, “Despite efforts by the Trump administration and its Chinese counterparts to paint an optimistic picture of ongoing negotiations aimed at reducing trade tensions, investors are demanding more evidence that the two sides will avoid the imposition of new and expanded tariffs in 2019, market participants say. Once again, a pair of administration officials gave opposing views about those negotiations in separate television appearances Friday.” The one-two punch of genuine concern about the trade war and the jobs report which came in well under expectations added fuel to the fire that the Federal Reserve will have to take its foot off the interest rate pedal. Although it is still widely anticipated that the Fed will initiate one last rate hike this month, to be announced at the conclusion of the FOMC meeting, recent data suggests that the Federal Reserve will need to slow down its rate hikes next year. . . . Gold prices are holding double-digit gains and have pushed to a nearly five-month high in afternoon U.S. trading Friday. Another big sell off in the U.S. stock market this afternoon is lending safe-haven demand to the gold market. The technical posture for the gold market has also improved markedly recently, to suggest more upside price action for the yellow metal in the near term. February gold was last up $10.90 an ounce at $1,254.50.

drbubb
GOLD in Pounds Sterling - touched GBP 1,000, with possible Breakout Gold Resilient In Light Of Falling British Pound And U.S. Dollar Strength In light of an extremely strong U.S. dollar, gold is holding up quite well today. We only need to look at the KGX (Kitco Gold Index) to illustrate that point. As of 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, spot gold is currently fixed at $1,243.30, which is a net decline of $4.40 on the day. Today’s decline is 100% the direct result of a strengthening U.S. dollar, which is accounting for a decline of $5.20 per ounce. Normal trading is actually bidding the precious yellow metal higher by $0.80, resulting in today’s decline of $4.40. Currently, the British pound is under dramatic pressure, down 1.54% and fixed against the U.S. dollar at 1.256. After Friday’s tepid jobs report which came in well under economists’ estimates, the probability of an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve at the conclusion of this month’s FOMC meeting has diminished. drbubb
Bullish forecasts for 2019 - but we may need a falling Dollar for these to work out DXY / Trade-weighted US Dollar ... 1-year : 3-years : Look For Gold To Hit $1,400 In 2019 - BoAML n his presentation, Widmer noted that this past year, three factors worked in collaboration with each other to drive gold prices lower: rising real interest rates, positive U.S. economic growth and a strong U.S. dollar. However, looking to the year ahead, he added that these trends are all reversing. “We are moving into an environment that will be very supportive for gold,” he said. Along with a turning tide in U.S. interest rates and U.S. dollar strength, the bank sees growing financial volatility driving gold prices in 2019. The bank sees higher volatility as global liquidity continues to tighten. “True, gold prices will not spike until there is a meaningful shift in some the recent market trends. But we believe the spike in the VIX is already setting the stage for that reversal, while the twin U.S. trade and government budget deficits could come into focus as we head into 2019,” the bank report said. “In our view, gold prices could spike quickly to a $1,400/oz high next year if global markets perceive that the Fed is about to blink in its dual monetary tightening policy.” Looking outside the U.S., the bank sees weaker Chinese growth as a positive factor for gold as it will prompt the Chinese central bank to loosen monetary policy. “While China's credit bubble could negatively impact gold in the near term, a possible shift to aggressively ease monetary policy to deal with debt deflation could be very bullish for gold,” the bank said. “After all, as rates go down in China, the opportunity cost of holding gold is expected to drop.” Although the bank is optimistic on gold, it has little cheer for other precious metal assets, particularly silver. “There are too many spare ounces of silver floating around the market to support bullish market fundamentals,” said Widmer. The bank sees silver averaging $16.93 an ounce in 2019, with the metal hitting a high of 18 an ounce.

drbubb
NAILED 'EM - Trump is Fighting Hard to get a Wall Built EPIC: President Trump, Schumer and Pelosi Argue on National TV Over Border Wall, Partial Government Shutdown: ‘I am Proud to Shutdown the Government for Border Security, Chuck’; ‘I Will Take the Mantle’ This is epic. Trump, Schumer and Pelosi just argued on national TV for what seemed like forever about a potential government shutdown over border security and the wall being built. Honestly, it was amazing. Watch the full video below. It’s cued up to 16:45 for your viewing pleasure: GO TO VIDEO IN LINK The only thing I really didn’t like was that by meeting with only Pelosi and Schumer on TV, it makes it look like they both control their respective chambers of Congress. Democrats will control the House, but not the Senate and I think this gives off the wrong impression. While Schumer is certainly an obstacle in the Senate, I’d have rather seen McConnell in this meeting. I’ll add clips to the post shortly. So if you don’t want to watch the entire video above – WHICH YOU SHOULD – check back shortly for the clips. > Link: https://therightscoop.com/epic-trump-schumer-and-pelosi-argue-on-national-tv-over-the-wall-and-shutting-down-government-full-video/ This is worth watching. drbubb
Suddenly... from the Deepest Abyss... 'AQUAMAN' Raves: (almost)'Most Epic Superhero Movie Ever Made'... (starring a half white guy*... imagine!) After decades of getting treated like a pop culture punchline, thanks almost entirely to “Super Friends” (with a little help from “Entourage”), Aquaman finally has his own feature film. It’s a weird and wonderful superhero adventure that strives — and almost succeeds — to be the most epic superhero movie ever made. Directed by James Wan (“Furious 7”), “Aquaman” ventures from a neon, “Tron”-inspired Atlantis to ancient ruins straight out of “Indiana Jones,” and then into a nightmare realm of evil swarming fish monsters. It features gigantic battles between innocent crab people and bad guys riding armored sharks. At one point, a DayGlo rave octopus plays the drums while Aquaman fights for the throne of Atlantis in an underwater gladiator arena called “The Ring of Fire.” To call this movie “big” is an understatement. “Aquaman” has damn near everything: Amber Heard wears a dress made out of domesticated jellyfish, Julie Andrews voices a Lovecraftian aquatic leviathan, Nicole Kidman eats a live goldfish (presumably fake), Willem Dafoe spins a trident so fast it creates an impenetrable saltwater shield. At the center of it all is Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman (a.k.a. Arthur Curry) like a shirtless, beer-swilling underachiever**. Ever since his mom, Princess Atlanna (Kidman), was executed for falling in love with a human and having a hybrid child, Arthur has deemed himself unworthy of just about anything. It took a whole “Justice League” movie to get him to start acting like a superhero, and it’ll take a whole “Aquaman” movie to make him finally accept his mantle as the King of Atlantis. Until then, Arthur’s half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) has the throne, and he’s using that power to assemble all of the undersea armies and to prepare a massive war against the surface-dwellers. In order to stop him, Arthur will have to team up with Mera (Heard), a princess from another kingdom, and find a fabled trident which, like Excalibur, can be wielded only by the one true king. * Jason Momoa (born August 1, 1979) is an American actor and model. He was born in Honolulu, but was raised in Iowa. His father is Hawaiian, and his mother is of German-Scottish ancestry. In 1999, he won the Title of Hawaii Model of the Year, which won him a role on Baywatch Hawaii. His wife (since 2007) is Lisa Bonet, an actress and is of African American and Ashkenazi Jewish descent ** like a shirtless, beer-swilling underachiever: Prof JBP to Aquaman: "clean up your (undersea) room, if you want to amount to something!"
