"Dustify" FB & GOOG for Election meddling etcetera

Dust = Stocks to come down, not People!

These two once "fine" companies have gone too far, way too far.
Stock prices need to come down as they face consequences for meddling.

They meddled extensively in the 2016 Election (& their candidate still lost.)

AND they are now meddling once again, as if their futures depended on the Dems winning this November's election.

The time has come to blow the  whistle, and investigate the monopolies of the Tech giants, especially these two.

If they wind up being broken up, or "dustified" through harsh anti-trust legislation, that would only be good for Free Speech

(for me, THE FOLLOWING was the Last Straw. I want to see Zuckerberg's role at FB vaporized, for allowing this.)

Fascistbook: Facebook Bans #WalkAway Founder for Mentioning Interview With Alex Jones, Linking to Infowars

On Wednesday, Brandon Straka, founder of the viral movement to #WalkAway from the increasingly radical far-left Democrat Party, said he was handed a 30-day ban from Facebook, the social media giant once dubbed “Iron FistBook” by political cartoonist A.F. Branco.

His crime? He dared to mention an interview with Infowars’ Alex Jones and (brace yourself) linked to Jones’ site.  Acts that are now apparently doubleplus ungood, as George Orwell would say in his classic, “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” a book which has evidently become something of a guideline for Big Social Media companies like Facebook and Twitter.

Worse yet, he said on Twitter, the ban took place as he was preparing for an upcoming #WalkAway march set to take place in October.

He (Straka) announced the Orwellian action on Twitter:

“FACEBOOK JUST BANNED ME AS I AM PLANNING THE March on Washington!!! I have been banned from posting leading up to the March. This is devastated (sic) for our ability to reach people!!! I was banned for mentioning my interview with Alex Jones. Can anybody help???”

FB / Facebook & GOOG / Alphabet ... since 1.2016 : Last: FB: $161 / GOOG: $1170 = r-13.76%

GOOG / Alphabet.

Whomever is running it now, seems ro be hiding from Congress.  Probably for good reason.

Tucker Carlson has made them America's Enemy #1 - for good reason

President Trump Declares ‘National Emergency’ to Deal With Threat of Election Meddling

In an executive order signed Wednesday, President Trump declared a national emergency to deal with the threat of "foreign interference" in the nation's "free and open political system."

The order says people located outside the U.S. increasingly are able to "interfere or undermine public confidence" in U.S. elections by hacking into election and campaign infrastructure -- or by distributing propaganda and disinformation.

The situation "constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States," the order said.

"Although there has been no evidence of a foreign power altering the outcome or vote tabulation in any United States election, foreign powers have historically sought to exploit America’s free and open political system. In recent years, the proliferation of digital devices and internet-based communications has created significant vulnerabilities and magnified the scope and intensity of the threat of foreign interference, as illustrated in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment.

"I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with this threat," said the order signed by Trump.

The president is ordering the Director of National Intelligence and other agency heads to assess, within 45 days of an election, the extent of any foreign interference in the election.

. . .

In a conference call with reporters Wednesday, National Security Adviser John Bolton said the executive order does not specify any particular country (Russia!) "because as we've said on a number of occasions, threats to the integrity of the election process come from a number of sources.

"We felt it was important to demonstrate that the president has taken command of this issue, that it's something he cares deeply about, that the integrity of our elections and our constitutional process are a high priority to him," Bolton added.

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats told reporters the executive order is intended to assure Americans "that we are doing every possible thing we can -- first of all, to prevent any interference with our election, to report on anything we see between now and the election, but then to do a full assessment after the election to assure the American people just exactly what may have happened or may not have happened. And if we see something has happened, then it is going to be an automatic response to that. That's the gist of where we are."

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said the order mandating sanctions against election meddlers sends a "clear signal that the U.S. government will not tolerate interference of any kind and will use every tool at our disposal to protect our democratic process."

Brilliant Move ! - since FOREIGN meddling SHould include voting by Illegal Aliens.

And anyone who encouraged that ( FB? GOOG? ) could be found and investigated - meddling ny encouraging Illegal voters might be seen as an act of Treason.

FB and GOOG now have targets painted on them

Google Gives Extremely Lame Response to Documented Proof They Were Pro-Hillary, Anti-Trump in 2016 Election

/ 2 /

It’s Official: Google is a Democrat Party Front

Someone leaked to Breitbart an hour-long video of an “all hands” Google meeting that was held just after the 2016 election. The video features Google’s co-founder, Sergei Brin, its CEO, Sundar Pichai, and numerous other high-ranking “Googlers” speaking in turn about the election’s tragic outcome. It is stunning.

All of the speakers express grief over Donald Trump’s election. All of the speakers assume that every Google employee is a Democrat and is stunned and horrified that Hillary Clinton–the worst and most corrupt presidential candidate in modern history–lost. There is much discussion about what Google can do to reverse the benighted world-wide tide exemplified by Brexit and Trump’s election. The insane doctrine of “white privilege” rears its head.

You really have to see it to believe it. Having suffered through the hour-long cri de cœur–OK, to be fair, there is a huge element of schadenfreude, too, and you will relish much of it–you probably will have several reactions: 1) These people may have certain valuable technical skills, but they aren’t very bright and are unusually lacking in self-awareness. 2) It is remarkable that they can achieve such an extraordinary monoculture in an organization with thousands of employees. It must require vigorous enforcement of right-think. 3) It is easy to see how these uniformly left-wing robots/people seamlessly transitioned into Resisting the duly elected Trump administration.

Here is the video, then a final comment:

The question is what to do about the left-wing tech monopolies of Silicon Valley. Start conservative companies and platforms to compete with them? Break them up under the Sherman Act? Turn them into regulated public utilities, with public employee-level salaries and no stock options? Those are all possibilities. After watching the video, you no doubt will be ready to take action.

#WalkAway Leader’s Facebook Ban Lifted After Massive Blowback, Only to Become Target for Leftist Hit Piece

Facebook quietly lifted the ban on #WalkAway founder Brandon Straka shortly after his appearance on Thursday’s Alex Jones Show.

But instead of notifying Stroka first, the social media giant reportedly informed a reporter on the ban removal; the reporter then contacted Straka to push the narrative that he and conservatives like him were lying about social media bans.

“Facebook apparently lifted my ban – then CONTACTED A REPORTER – NOT ME- & this reporter has already put out a piece calling me a liar about the ban,” said Straka. “I just checked & the ban has been lifted.”

Google is like a rat's nest of anti-Americans.., who do not believe in the US Elections

Bokhari — Google’s ‘Values’: 60-Minute Video Reveals Political Zealotry in Tech Corporate Culture

Many moments in the Google Tape were revealing, but also illuminating was what consistently failed to appear: dissent. Not one Google employee dared to challenge the one-party mindset displayed in the room. And why would they?

Conservative and Trump-supporting employees in the audience (and we know at least one of them was there) heard the company’s co-founder link their motivations to “extremism” and “fascism,” saying he was “deeply offended” by their decision. Google VP for Global Affairs Kent Walker said populism and nationalism were motivated by “hatred and xenophobia.”

Why would anyone have spoken up, when their company’s management made it clear that their democratic decision was xenophobic and offensive?

“[It was] a very hard cycle, especially with our values,” says CEO Sundar Pichai “We are so deeply committed to our values… Nothing will change… We will stand up always for the values we believe in.”

And what are those values? Watch the whole video, and they quickly become apparent:

  1. Globalism: Google VP Kent Walker insists that despite its repeated rejection by electorates around the world, “globalization” is an “incredible force for good.”
  2. Hillary Clinton’s Democratic party: An executive nearly broke down crying because of the candidate’s loss. Not a single executive expressed anything but dismay at her defeat.
  3. Immigration: Maintaining liberal immigration in the U.S is the policy that Google’s executives discussed the most.
  4. Coddling: Google’s campus seems very much like a college campus. Instead of encouraging emotional self-sufficiency, executives encourage group hugs, public displays of emotion, and “healing.”
  5. Opposing “white privilege”: at the very end of the video, a Google employee goes on a rant about white privilege, calling for white males to attend special “bias busting” training. Every Google executive on stage applauded the race-baiting speech.
  6. Dissent is just irrational bigotry: Sergey Brin compared the motivations of Trump voters to those of fascists. Kent Walker said populists and nationalists are motivated by hatred, xenophobia, and fear.

The uniformity of opinions among the company’s top executives would be unusual even in a partisan media publication. In a supposedly neutral corporation, that wields more power over the flow of information than any other organization in history, it is shocking.

CRIMINALITY exposed?  Certainly EXTREME political bias

Only one executive on stage — People Operations VP Eileen Naughton — explicitly referenced conservative employees within the company, saying they “haven’t felt entirely comfortable revealing who [they] are.” But she herself cracked jokes about employees moving to Canada following the election, and made no effort to contradict fellow executives who compared Trump supporters to fascists and xenophobes.

Despite’s Naughton’s admission that conservatives at the company feel uncomfortable, Google told Breitbart News that “everyone at Google has been able to freely express their opinions at these meetings.

The company also denied their executives’ biases ever trickled down into their product.

“Nothing was said at that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that any political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products. To the contrary, our products are built for everyone, and we design them with extraordinary care to be a trustworthy source of information for everyone, without regard to political viewpoint.”

Again, that contradicts what the company’s own executives say in the leaked video. Sergey Brin and Pichai both reference “Jigsaw,” Google’s anti-extremism project, which among other things develops tools to redirect people away from extremist material in search results. But they aren’t discussing the project in the context of an actual extremist group, like ISIS — they discuss it in the context of Trump’s election.

Pichai, responding to a question about “low-information voters” sharing “fake news,” says that the company’s work on “machine learning” is an area of opportunity.

. . .How can anyone believe Google’s assurance that it doesn’t bias its products, when the company’s executives actively brainstormed ways to stop the populist movement, just days after Trump’s election? Especially when they reference Google tools like Jigsaw and machine learning?

But even if, by some miracle, Google hasn’t intentionally tweaked its products to harm the populist movement, that doesn’t mean they won’t do it by accident. Remember, the company had to withdraw a fact-checking feature earlier this year after it was revealed that it almost exclusively fact-checked conservatives. Intent or no, groupthink at Google will affect Google’s products. And in that video, the groupthink is overwhelming.

Childish Leftists at Google - Pampered into Conformity (& brain-death?)

Google is a Leftist Cult: Employees Wear Multi-Colored Propeller Hats to Proclaim Obedience to Their Creepy Techno-Cult

After coming under fire for being a “threat to free society,” Google is facing even more scrutiny for their extreme, cult-like atmosphere. It turns out new employees are forced to wear multi-colored propeller caps which say “Noogler” on them for an entire week after going to their first “TGIF” all-hands meeting.

The hats have been a part of Google’s corporate culture for years, but became fodder for public amusement after Breitbart leaked shocking footage of a “TGIF” meeting in which Google higher-ups disparaged Trump supporters and encouraged employees to think of ways the company could thwart populist movements in the United States and other countries. The Noogler hats are just one of the many ways in which Google forces its employees to bend to their authoritarian corporate culture — and are a representation of the company’s cult-like nature.

“If you’re new to Google, expect to be called a Noogler. Pronounced ‘new-gler,’ these people are identifiable thanks to the Google-colored propeller caps they receive,” Business Insider explains. Nooglers get their caps at their first TGIF meeting. The excitement at being christened with a Noogler cap strikes a shocking similarity to that of cult members who are eagerly awaiting their formal indoctrination.

. . .

it’s not just the hats that show how oppressive and cult-like Google really is: Recall the firing of James Damore, a former Google employee who was cut from the company simply for suggesting that the environment at Google was not conducive to diversity of thought. Damore accused the company of creating an ideological echo chamber with zero room for discussion.

At Google, if you don’t conform, you’re kicked out.

More insidious, however, is Google’s tremendous effort at keeping their employees “happy.” It’s not a secret that working at Google comes with a host of perks beyond the average working American’s wildest dreams: Free, organic, chef-prepared meals, free dental and healthcare, free haircuts, free dry cleaning, gyms and swimming pools, nap pods and other amenities make life at Google seem more like a luxury resort than a place of work.

Google says it provides these things to reduce employee turnover, but their generosity may serve a more clandestine purpose: Brainwashing their employees. By providing just about everything they could need, Google employees aren’t just being made happy, they’re being “turned” into Google disciples that will support the company’s endeavors, no matter how controversial — and follow the company’s lead, no matter where it takes them.

Alongside Google’s penchant for information control, it’s clear that Google isn’t the benevolent force it pretends to be.

The hats may say “Noogler” but what they really mean is, “You’re one of us.” And once you’re one of the “team,” there may be no coming back.

Split may save GOOG

Former Google CEO predicts the internet will split in two by 2028 — and one part will be led by China

  • Speaking at a private event hosted by Village Global VC yesterday night, tech luminary and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt predicted that the internet will bifurcate into Chinese-led and US-led versions within the next decade.
  • Under Sundar Pichai's leadership, Google has explored the potential to launch a censored version of its search engine in China, stirring up controversy internally and outside the company.

Eric Schmidt, who has been the CEO of Google and executive chairman of its parent company, Alphabet, predicts that within the next decade there will be two distinct internets: one led by the U.S. and the other by China.

Schmidt shared his thoughts at a private event in San Francisco on Wednesday night convened by investment firm Village Global VC. The firm enlists tech luminaries — including Schmidt, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Diane Green — as limited partners, then invests their money into early-stage tech ventures.

At the event, economist Tyler Cowen asked, "What are the chances that the internet fragments over the years?" Schmidt said:

"I think the most likely scenario now is not a splintering, but rather a bifurcation into a Chinese-led internet and a non-Chinese internet led by America.

If you look at China, and I was just there, the scale of the companies that are being built, the services being built, the wealth that is being created is phenomenal. Chinese Internet is a greater percentage of the GDP of China, which is a big number, than the same percentage of the US, which is also a big number.

If you think of China as like 'Oh yeah, they're good with the Internet,' you're missing the point. Globalization means that they get to play too. I think you're going to see fantastic leadership in products and services from China. There's a real danger that along with those products and services comes a different leadership regime from government, with censorship, controls, etc.

Look at the way BRI works – their Belt and Road Initiative, which involves 60-ish countries – it's perfectly possible those countries will begin to take on the infrastructure that China has with some loss of freedom."

. . . BRI is an economic development strategy of the Chinese government that aims to connect and facilitate all kinds of trade, including digital trade, between China and countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Schmidt's predictions come at a time when his successor at Google, CEO Sundar Pichai, has stirred up controversy around the company's strategy in China.

Reportedly, Google has been developing "Project Dragonfly," a censored version of its search engine that could appease authorities in China. The project allegedly included a means to suppress some search results, booting them off the first page, and a means to fully block results for sensitive queries, for example, around "peaceful protests."

Would (evil) GOOG migrate to China?

FakeBook gets worse and worse... as we wait for the Boom to be lowered

FACEBOOK Deletes Dozen Political Pages...

Facebook Has Removed More Than A Dozen Big Conservative And Liberal Political Pages

Facebook said the pages were managed by a fake account and were spamming content from LifeZette, a conservative site.

All of the removed pages had recently, and almost exclusively, been promoting links to LifeZette.com, the conservative website founded by Fox News host Laura Ingraham. It was sold last year to Canadian billionaire Daryl Katz, though Ingraham maintains a minority stake in the company, according to CNN. LifeZette's content continues to be heavily promoted on Ingraham’s social media accounts. (Her Facebook page and the main LifeZette page were not removed by Facebook. The company did not respond to requests for comment.)

The removals come as Facebook says it is in the midst of stepped-up efforts to detect possible policy violations on political pages in advance of the midterms. The takedowns deal a huge blow to a group of once-prominent hyperpartisan publishers on Facebook, and reinforces how much that business has declined since 2016 thanks to algorithm changes and heightened policy enforcement by the social network.

Silicon Valley's War Against "White, Male Conservatives" Is A War Against America

“We are a political monoculture that's intolerant of different views...”

With the termination of a YouTube account, or simple tweak of an algorithm, the tech company monsters - Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter - are able to deprive millions of Americans of conservative news sources, undermining both the Constitution and the spirit of democracy.

In a perfectly wired world, the gatekeepers of the Internet would limit themselves specifically to the technical aspects of their job, ensuring that a well-oiled matrix runs smoothly and effectively for the end user. But alas, we do not inhabit a perfect world.

Political bias runs far and deep inside of Silicon Valley, and following the defeat of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, the tech giants are now poised to make life very difficult for conservatives. That much was plain to see in a shocking video of a Google meeting, chaired by the company’s founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, just days after U.S. voters sent Donald Trump to the White House.

Brin kicked off the cry fest by stating, “Let’s face it, most people here are pretty upset and pretty sad because of the election…As an immigrant and a refugee I certainly find this election deeply offensive and I know many of you do too.”

What followed from there was one Google executive after another describing their disappointment with the election, some actually shedding tears, interspersed with bold promises to better “advocate for our values,” which is just another way of saying that Conservative values are worthless and the Democrats now have a moral duty to fulfill.

Now had this been an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, or a get together of Democratic political pollsters, such lamentations would have been understandable. But coming from Google, the world’s premier search engine of news and information, it was downright creepy.

There were already calls of despair coming from inside the Google fortress before this very cringe-worthy meeting. James Damore, an engineer at the tech company, made headlines with a 10-page memo he wrote entitled, “Google's Ideological Echo Chamber,” which exposed the ‘discriminatory’ hiring practices Google allegedly endorses.

Damore, together with another former Google engineer, David Gudeman, followed up on the memo with a lawsuit that accused Google of cultivating a corporate culture that regularly admonishes “politically conservative white men”.

“Google’s management goes to extreme — and illegal — lengths to encourage hiring managers to take protected categories such as race and/or gender into consideration as determinative hiring factors, to the detriment of Caucasian and male employees and potential employees at Google,” the suit reads.

“Not only was the numerical presence of women celebrated at Google solely due to their gender, but the presence of Caucasians and males was mocked with ‘boos’ during company-wide weekly meetings."

Perhaps most explosive, Damore and Gudeman’s lawsuit goes on to claim that the company maintains "blacklists," which are allegedly designed to prevent employees with conservative views from obtaining promotions within Google, which also, incidentally, owns YouTube.

Earlier this month, Google, which came under attack by Donald Trump for "suppressing voices of Conservatives," refused to attend a Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. This would have given lawmakers the chance to grill the company over claims of bias, which does seem to have a tendency to skew algorithms against white males.
