A Cold Winter (& a Civil War) may be coming

Farmer’s Almanac Prediction: We Are ‘Calling For Teeth-Chattering Cold’

The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a bone-chillingly cold and snowy winter. Managing editor of The Farmer’s Almanac Sandi Duncan said: “We’re actually calling for [a] teeth-chattering cold.”

The Almanac’s famed weather forecast is out and the editors are already busting myths about their prediction. If you’re not a fan of winter, the news is bleak. But you’ll still want to break out the winter hats and boots early this year because Duncan added that the cold will likely hit us sooner than normal this winter. “We’re summarizing it as ‘cold and wet’ and the interesting thing is, it looks like winter might start a little bit early. We have some winter storms predicted early on,” said Duncan according to The Press Herald.

If we maintain our human warmth, and a belief in a savior, we can stay off the joyless time line:

A Soldier's Winter : John Titor's Time Travel Poem v.2

Is THIS where this chilling Poem came from... John Titor, a Time Traveler?

======

John Titor, a possible Time Traveler was asked in 2001, if he could recall the lines of any poems from the future, beyond 2001.

He remembered three of the lines from the following poem:

A SOLDIER'S WINTER

Yesterday it did not snow. The sun hung out as naked as a hollow ball on a Christmas tree, seeming dead and motionless, a mere symbol, not a living being. Where had all the joy gone, when so sorely needed? I reached out thinking if only I could touch and feel the familiar, then all would be right again, and my memories restored. The color was all wrong. The once-yellow was now white-blue. The skies themselves were like a cold vampire, sucking. The trees are Strangers, leering, disapproving in the ash of winter ...My world, my life, my wandering path, has lost its way. I felt so all alone, knowing what I knew, and seeing so clearly. No one wants to share this vision; they all dance on, Chanting a child's song, even as the music died. When the joy was gone, they could still move on. But now as robots, with zombie arms, and zombie legs, And a zombie's dead heart, seeking heat, not love. I could watch, but no longer join in, severed from their dreams. I pray God's eyes may once again gaze upon me and remind me that I am still His child.

Titor's future world seem to have little joy, little warmth.

So I do pray it was a hoax, or we can stay on a different time line

- and not face a Cold winter and Civil War in 2019 & beyond

Civil War Coming?  That's what a new book considers

cover-final-front-416x625.jpg?w=416

(here's an interview by Dr Patrick Slattery with the writer, Tom Kawczynski on his new book, The Coming Civil War ):

"It is hard to imagine things holding together.... there are Six possibilities"

> MP3 : http://media.blubrry.com/rbn/s/content.blubrry.com/rbn/Tuesday_12.mp3

Six Scenarios:

1. Submission - growing power by the Left, supported by immigration

2. Militarization - military takes over, to oppose the left wing agenda

3. Decentralization - power back to the state

4. Separation - Voluntary split

5. Succession - involuntary split

6. Collapse - no institutions with enough credence to hold the country together

People who want America to preserve its historical traditions "have some tough choices to make"

"Without Trump, Submission would have happened"

As preview, this book talks about four main divisions tearing our nation asunder:  Ideology (left vs. right), residency (where one lives – town or country), race, and culture.  The nature of these divisions is should any one of these conflicts come to a boiling point where events and irreconcilable differences bring the cold cultural fight to some hot action, it is highly probable every other issue will come into play at precisely the same time.  With a lack of common purpose and agreement between partisans, the center cannot hold.

In admitting such, I do not posit moral equivalency of the sides.  What we could call broadly the left coalition exists to realize radical egalitarianism, struggling against nature itself to equalize outcomes from disparate peoples and ideas, and being willing to use any coercive power to accomplish these ends.  Population displacement, forced censorship, and cultural indoctrination are only the beginning of what they will utilize in their already doomed effort to prove this iteration of the Marxist plot will finally be different.

The right has come lately to this battle, with the last gasp nationalist efforts that sent Trump into office finally recognizing that a cultural retreat across sixty years has done nothing but seen the destruction of the family in many places as well as the induction of the one free civil society that encouraged virtue into the every growing state.  Those targeted for destruction as traditional power centers:  Whites, Christians, men, traditionalists, and those who believe in liberty are being pushed together by mutual threat.

. . . It is a hard book, but an honest book.  The word s are easy enough to read and the story is very clearly developed, but it is a gut punch to realize the future will likely be brutal.  That said, better you be ready now, and my book is one you should read.

The Hidden Tribes of America, the Cultural Revolution Underway,

and Why We’re Not as Divided as You Think We Are

“Looking at the network of US cities, it’s been remarkable to see how groups of them form clusters, with strong connections locally but few contacts outside the cluster,” Warden wrote. “For example Columbus, OH and Charleston, WV are nearby as the crow flies, but share few connections, with Columbus clearly part of the North, and Charleston tied to the South.”

2018-11-23_21-51-30.png

Just for fun, I’ll briefly summarize the six regions that could form new countries if we decided to disband the union and give up on the great American experiment that is the United States.

. . . These are the Hidden Tribes of America:

  1. Progressive Activists (8% of America): “are deeply concerned with issues concerning equity, fairness, and America’s direction today. They tend to be more secular, cosmopolitan, and highly engaged with social media.”
  2. Traditional Liberals (11% of America): “tend to be cautious, rational, and idealistic. They value tolerance and compromise. They place great faith in institutions.”
  3. Passive Liberals (15% of America): “tend to feel isolated from their communities. They are insecure in their beliefs and try to avoid political conversations. They have a fatalistic view of politics and feel that the circumstances of their lives are beyond their control.”
  4. The Politically Disengaged (26% of America): “are untrusting, suspicious about external threats, conspiratorially minded, and pessimistic about progress. They tend to be patriotic yet detached from politics.”
  5. Moderates (15% of America): “are engaged in their communities, well informed, and civic-minded. Their faith is often an important part of their lives. They shy away from extremism of any sort.”
  6. Traditional Conservatives (19% of America): “tend to be religious, patriotic, and highly moralistic. They believe deeply in personal responsibility and self-reliance.”
  7. Devoted Conservatives (6% of America): “are deeply engaged with politics and hold strident, uncompromising views. They feel that America is embattled, and they perceive themselves as the last defenders of traditional values that are under threat.”

If you want to see what tribe you fall under, take the short quiz here.

2018-11-23_21-51-54.png

The two far wings of these tribes of America have hijacked the political discussion and receive an inordinate amount of media attention. Progressive Activists and Devoted Conservatives make up just 14 percent of the population, but they have taken over the national conversation. Along with Traditional Conservatives, who value much of what Devoted Conservatives do, these three tribes or wings of the Hidden Tribes make up just one-third of the population. These groups’ distrust and fear of the other side has created the polarized environment we have today. This divisive environment is important to keep in perspective, however, as two-thirds of the country are in the “Exhausted Majority.” Americans in the majority are much less certain about their views and hold a wider range of beliefs. They are also much more open to compromise and change while holding a much less hateful view toward those they disagree with.

The wings dominate the conversation because the mainstream media has learned how to monetize divisive politics. News outlets have given up trying to be objective and are now pushing a political agenda to get more views, clicks, and likes. It’s all about politics these days because that is what sells. Fox News throws red meat to its viewers and doesn’t care about liberals’ point of view. CNN and MSNBC have become the anti-Trump networks and even late night talk shows have now become extremely political and anti-Republican. With this media climate, the most extreme and strident voices get the most airtime. Talking heads refuse to concede points to the other side or even attempt to see where the opposing viewpoint is coming from. “All this can make entertaining television and viral social media content,” More in Common writes. “But it is distorting how we see each other, fracturing our society, and adding to distortions in our political system that give undue weight to the most extreme views.”

Ten Reasons Why Governments Fail

11/22/ 2018 Antony P. Mueller
When politicians and bureaucrats fail to deliver what they promise — which happens a lot — we're often told that the problem can be solved if only we get the right people to run the government instead. We're told that the old crop of government agents were trying hard enough. Or that they didn't have the right intentions. While it's true that there are plenty of incompetent and ill-intentioned people in government, we can't always blame the people involved. Often, the likelihood of failure is simply built in to the institution of government itself. In other words, politicians and bureaucrats don't succeed because they can't succeed. The very nature of government administration is weighted against success.

Freezing Temperatures Could Heat Up Natural Gas Prices

Here in San Antonio, the temperature hit a bone-chilling low of 27 degrees last Wednesday, breaking a 102-year-old record for mid-November. An out-of-state visitor, Cornerstone Macro’s Head of Portfolio Insights Stephen Gregory, speculated that the Central Texas temperature, ordinarily mild this time of year, was down more than three standard deviations. I didn’t make the calculation, but my guess would be about the same.

With temperatures so low, it’s perhaps no surprise that natural gas had one of its best days in years. Its price popped almost 18 percent last Wednesday—before falling nearly as much on Thursday. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that natural gas storage in the lower 48 states was below the five-year average as of October 31. This, combined with a stronger-than-expected start to winter, prompted traders to push prices to a four-year high of $4.84 per million British thermal units (MBtu). Meanwhile, natural gas futures trading hit an all-time daily volume record of 1.2 million contracts, according to CME Group.

Freezing temperatures increase demand for heating, much of which is provided by natural gas. In January of this year, when temperatures fell below the average in many parts of the U.S., demand reached a single-day record of 150.7 billion cubic feet, according to the EIA. I can’t say we’ll beat this record again in the coming months, but forecasts for more freezing weather this Thanksgiving week and beyond should support additional moves to the upside.

Weather Channel: "It's Been One Of The Most Miserable Starts To Winter On Record"

Across the Northeast, Midwest, and Plains, it has been one of the coldest and snowiest starts to the winter season on record.

"Winter has gotten off to a fast start across a majority of the United States, particularly across the Northeast. Early season snow plagued I-95 in mid-November, bringing New York City it’s earliest 6” snowfall on record. Record cold blanketed the region on Thanksgiving, partly causing a rapid spike in natural gas prices. Cold also likely played a role in retail performance over the holiday weekend. While most see a reprieve from cold over the next 7 days, another blast of arctic air is expected later in the first week of December across the eastern U.S., which may further complicate energy market movement going forward," said Ed Vallee, head meteorologist at Vallee Weather Consulting.

FATTIES are more on one side than the other

Genes, yes, but obesity pandemic mostly down to diet...

And the anti-Patriots are nearly all Dems

D-mUHx3U4AIF-Pk.jpgNOT beautiful to Dems
Why have we lost our patriotism?

American patriotism has just reached a record low entirely because of Democrats, of whom only 22% say they’re “extremely proud” of their country. To celebrate the Fourth, America’s most prominent newspaper is bidding for the trolling Hall of Fame by running a video, titled “Please stop telling me America is great,” that argues how America is “just OK.”

Genes no. Diet, not really.

Lethargy, Lack of exercise, and no education or healthcare.

Is "The American Way".

Only so far the petrodollar can carry their lard arses, and that game is over.

The food chain has been completely compromised and obesity is absolutely caused by poor diet and eating more food than your body requires. All sugar, wheat based products, pasta, potato and rice will pile on the pounds.
