The Left is Eating Its Own; Will Violence follow?

Left Eating Left: Women’s March Destroyed By Left’s ‘Intersectionality’

What’s going on with the Women’s March? The movement, which gained popularity after the election of President Donald Trump, seems to be slowly dying by a series of self-inflicted wounds. The organization has been rocked by allegations of anti-Semitism among its leaders and has been widely criticized for their tendency to exclude women who do not subscribe to all of the tenets of progressive ideology.

In light of this, you would think they would refrain from taking actions that would hasten their downfall, but as with many on the far left, they have not learned their lesson. Recently, the Women’s March decided to cancel an event in Eureka, California because — wait for it — the majority of the participants were white.

Women’s March Cancelled

In a recent press release, the organizers of the Women’s March announced that they would not be holding their annual event this year. “Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community,” they wrote. “Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach.”

The organization has indicated that they are considering holding an event to celebrate International Women’s Day in March. Perhaps they are hoping they can reach their minority quota by then?

The Problem

Womens-March-300x197.jpg

It appears that the leaders of the Women’s March were not thinking clearly when they decided to hold their event in Eureka. In reaction to the decision, local resident Amy Sawyer Long told the Washington Times that the city is made up mostly of white people. “I understand wanting a diverse group,” she said. “However, we live in a predominantly white area.” She added: “No matter the race people still want their voices heard.”

Long is right. According to Census Bureau data, Humboldt County, where Eureka is located is 74% non-Hispanic white. Of course, this brings up two questions — why would they hold the event there in the first place if they know it’s a mostly white community? Furthermore, do they truly believe that ostracizing whites is beneficial to their cause?

Will They Ever Learn?

Like most other far leftist groups, the Women’s March has shown itself to be guilty of the same type of discrimination and intolerance of which they accuse conservatives, and it’s important to note that their hypocrisy is likely the most significant contributor to the organization’s downfall.

Recently, the Washington State chapter of the Women’s March dissolved in protest of the organization’s ties to anti-Semitism. The group also had to cancel an event in Chicago due to logistical issues and a lack of volunteers. It turns out that elevating obvious anti-Semites to positions of leadership while excluding certain types of women is not exactly the best way to attract more people to your cause.

Has this guy still not found any friends? Although nice to see he's experimenting with new ideas - like wearing clothes.

He'd really benefit from having someone along with higher than a 2.0 gpa to help incorrect him.

Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez-Insane-300x169.

Left Eats Left: Exasperated Democrats Try To Rein In Ocasio-Cortez

She is bringing socialism for the forefront.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is already making enemies in the House Democratic Caucus — and some of its members are mounting an operation to bring the anti-establishment, democratic socialist with 2.2 million Twitter followers into the fold.

The effort, described by nearly 20 lawmakers and aides, is part carrot, part stick: Some lawmakers with ties to Ocasio-Cortez are hoping to coax her into using her star power to unite Democrats and turn her fire on Republicans. Others simultaneously warn Ocasio-Cortez is destined for a lonely, ineffectual career in Congress if she continues to treat her own party as the enemy.

I’m sure Ms. Cortez means well, but there’s almost an outstanding rule: Don’t attack your own people,” said Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.). “We just don’t need sniping in our Democratic Caucus.”

Incumbent Democrats are most annoyed by Ocasio-Cortez’s threat to back primary opponents against members of their ranks she deems too moderate. But their frustration goes beyond that: Democratic leaders are upset that she railed against their new set of House rules on Twitter the first week of the new Congress. Rank and file are peeved that there’s a grassroots movement to try to win her a top committee post they feel she doesn’t deserve.

. . . “She needs to decide: Does she want to be an effective legislator or just continue being a Twitter star?” said one House Democrat who’s in lockstep with Ocasio Cortez’s ideology. “There’s a difference between being an activist and a lawmaker in Congress.”

===

" I’m sure Ms. Cortez means well.. " ???

Nope.  She virtue-signals to gain power

If she really intended to do actual good, she would do more research,

It will be fun to watch less radical Dems tear her to pieces, & eat her

Or struggle as they get eat by her mad policies

Ahh, that explains it, must be very lonely being a right winger in Vermont. He should probably move somewhere that fits his politics better, like a New York apartment or a Texas homeless shelter.

Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez-Goofy-Face-300x

Dear Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Keep Destroying the Democrat Party

‘I Want a Wall Just Like Israel’s’

200939c0-cb78-4df4-bf25-d4aaefffb8d3.png

A split in the Democratic Party has developed. New Socialist U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has taken no time in rocking the left-wing boat led by establishment politicians Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Since day one, she stated that the policies were not progressive enough. This week she made fun of former vice presidential candidate Joe Lieberman’s age. As she tries to pull the party further to the left, the Democrats will not be the only ones suffering.

Lieberman who has not been in the news much lately made an appearance on Fox News Business and interviewed on Neil Cavuto Coast to Coast. Lieberman offered a sharp rebuke of AOC as she also is known. He said that she was not the future of the liberal caucus and if she was the party was over.

This did not sit well with Ocasio-Cortez. She replied to him via Twitter saying, ”New party, who dis?” With 2.2 million Twitter followers it is easy to see how she will create a divide in the party. If she continues down this road, she will not become an effective leader. AOC will alienate herself and become ineffective.

It appears that Ocasio-Cortez believes that she is the new Democratic Party. At least she is honest about who she is and her intentions. Her openness also exposes her ignorance. 76 percent of respondents in a Hill.TV/HarrisX poll would not vote for a socialist political candidate.

. . .

The more she pushes against their wishes - because they are not radical enough - the better off we are as a country due to internal fighting. A civil war between the radicals and establishment is sure to irritate the moderate Democratic electorate, either discouraging them or giving them a sense of apathy towards the party.

The media has made Ocasio-Cortez the face of the Democrats since her swear-in. She is propped up daily, and this seems to fuel her fire. However, go ahead and keep doing it. America needs to believe she is the left-wing party. Her ridiculous statements about morals being more important than facts, inability to explain simple economics – despite her being an economics major- and failure to disclose how to realistically come up with trillions and trillions of dollars for socialized healthcare is a plus for Republicans.

Ocasio-Cortez has created a splinter in the Democratic Party within a week. Now the leaders must play damage control and figure out how to deal with a media propped socialist. The scramble is going to be entertaining to watch. The fallout, however, will be more interesting to see.

very leftwing

They're just run of the mill left wing. although, probably about as left wing as you can get in the US.

very left wing would call for redistributing the 2 million odd square miles of Querecano owned by the British and French monarchies for the last 200 years to American citizens.

which may actually come to be during the collapse of the dollar.

Issues were Looming over the Womyn's March

Linda Sarsour, left, and Tamika Mallory, two of the organisers of the Women’s March, walked together on Pennsylvania Avenue at the Women’s March in Washington on Saturday

Laura Loomer Storms Stage in DC...

Laura Loomer interrupted a speaker during the Women’s March in Washington D.C. on Saturday. In a video shared on Twitter, the right-wing activist appeared onstage attempting to speak over a woman standing at a podium.

Loomer shouted claims about the organizers of the march being anti-Jewish. “The Women’s March does not represent Jewish people,” she yelled, adding that the Women’s March was a Nazi organization.

Security escorted Loomer off stage, but she didn’t leave without repeatedly screaming at the crowd: “What about the Jews?”

Thousands arrived at the nation’s capital for the third year of the rally, despite the Women’s March organization spending the majority of last year in utter chaos. Top members within the organization were accused of anti-Semitism after one of the organization's founders, Vanessa Wruble, claimed she was pushed out of the group because of her Jewish heritage.

The organization’s secretive financial dealings were also exposed in the midst of ongoing disputes between members and other women groups regarding the ownership and naming of the Women’s March. Turmoil within the organization has led to some members requesting the resignation of the national group’s co-chairs.

Loomer’s antics came just a few days after the alt-right attention-seeker allegedly trespassed at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s home in Napa Valley, California. Loomer appeared in a video attempting to open Pelosi’s door with three “undocumented” men she tricked into joining her crusade. The purpose of Loomer’s actions, according to conspiracy theorist and blogger Jacob Wohl, who posted the video on Twitter on Thursday, was to prove Pelosi’s “mansion isn’t a sanctuary for illegal aliens."

Loomer, who reportedly met the men at a Home Depot parking lot and persuaded them to join her protest, convinced the men to chant “You’re killing us Nancy!” after discovering the congressional leader’s door was locked, according to The Daily Beast.

Are the Dems now cutting themselves off from their Funding sources?

Howard Schultz Wouldn’t Donate to Elizabeth Warren Over SOCIALISM

A Bartender Just a Few Months Ago — But Now U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:

‘Billionaires Who Want to Run for President…Should Start with City Council First’

Billionaires like Howard Schultz who want to run for president should “work their way up” from city council, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Wednesday.

Reacting to news that Schultz says he needs to run as an Independent, instead of as a Democrat, because of Ocasio- Cortez’s tax hike plan, Rep. Cortez tweeted that Americans should insist billionaires start small:

Why don’t people ever tell billionaires who want to run for President that they need to “work their way up” or that “maybe they should start with city council first”?

DEM knives are out for the "racist" governor

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, has had a very bad week.

First, he endorsed infanticide and refused to walk back his statements. Then, on Friday, his old medical school yearbook page surfaced. It included a photo of him and someone else dressed in blackface and a KKK robe. We still don’t know which costume Northam wore.

Even "The Joker" wants him out

The former Virginia governor and ardent supporter of Northam, Terry MCauliffe also asked him to resign.

“This has been a heartbreaking day. Ralph Northam is my friend and he served well as my Lt. Governor and as Governor. His actions on display in this photo were racist, unacceptable and inexcusable at any age and any time,” McAuliffe tweeted.

“The situation that he has put himself and the Commonwealth of Virginia in is untenable. It's time for Ralph to step down, and for the Commonwealth to move forward.”

House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi

Pelosi finally called on Northam to resign Saturday morning, the day after the photo surfaced.

“The photo is racist and contrary to fundamental American values. I join my colleagues in Virginia calling on Governor Northam to do the right thing so that the people of the Commonwealth of Virginia can heal and move forward,” Pelosi tweeted.
