Howard Dean: We Need to Stay In Afghanistan to Spread Feminism

http://www.informationliberation.com/files/Howard-Dean-Spread-Feminism-in-Afghanistan.jpg

Former DNC chair Howard Dean, who ran as an antiwar candidate in 2004 before selling his soul and becoming a shadow lobbyist, said Friday on Twitter we need to stay in Afghanistan in the name of feminism.

"By withdrawing our troops from Afghanistan you are condemning millions of women to the Stone Age," Dean said. "No education, no choice about who they marry. They will become property when the Taliban takes over. Is that what you really want Ro?"

I wonder why Howard Dean, pharma lobbyist wants the United States to stay in Afghanistan? It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that a destabilized Afghanistan would disrupt the source of opiates for pharmaceutical companies, costing them tons of money. Certainly not...

Dec 21

He is worried about the supply of narcotics from Afghanistan that had reduced to near ZERO during Taliban govt. US had worked hard there to ensure consistent production and worldwide shipping of narcotics from Afghanistan.

Dec 21

Odd isn’t it? The Taliban’s war on opium has been erased from history. The US in Afghanistan increased opium production over 1000% if memory serves. I suspect this is the real reason they want a wide open southern border. Easier to get their drugs in.

Howard, have you ever seen how poor women live in the US? There are still laws that force minors to marry their rapist. Clean up your house!

What Pisses Me Off About "We Believe: The Best Men Can Be | Gillette (Short Film)

800.jpeg
This image from Gillette's Twitter account shows a Gillette advertisement. The ad for men invoking the #MeToo movement is sparking online backlash, with some saying it talks down to men and calling for a boycott. NEW YORK (AP) — A Gillette ad for men invoking the #MeToo movement is sparking intense online backlash, with accusations that it talks down to men and groups calling for a boycott. But Gillette says it doesn’t mind sparking a discussion. Since it debuted Monday, the Internet-only ad has garnered nearly 19 million views on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter — a level of buzz that any brand would covet.

The two-minute ad from Procter & Gamble’s razor brand shows men and boys engaging in bullying and sexual harassment and encourages men to “say the right thing” and “act the right way.” Taking on bullying, sexual harassment and toxic masculinity is a big task for a razor brand. Many critics took to social media saying it was insulting to men and laden with stereotypes.

The uproar comes as Gillette battles upstarts like Harry’s, Dollar Shave Club and others for millennial dollars. Gillette controlled about 70 percent of the U.S. market a decade ago. Last year, its market share dropped to below 50 percent, according to Euromonitor.

Allen Adamson, co-founder of branding firm Metaforce, called the ad a “hail Mary” pass from the 117-year-old company. But he added that online buzz, whether positive or negative, rarely makes a long-term difference for a marketer since memory fades quickly.

“Getting noticed and getting buzz is no easy task, and they’ve managed to break through,” Adamson said. “Most advertisers advertise, and no one notices because there is so much noise in the marketplace, so just getting noticed Is a big win, especially for low-interest category like a razor.”

GILLETTE accused of 'pink tax' sexism after toxic masculinity ad...

Another person also shared photos of the brand’s razors sold on Amazon, where a price discrepancy is evident.

“Me: The new Gillette ad is great. Also me: “Gillette why is an eight-pack of women’s blades $3-4 more than men’s?” they asked.

“OK so I’m all for the ideas in the Gillette commercial, I think it’s wonderful in theory, but a company can’t charge a pink tax and then use media to say they encourage gender equality and awareness, it doesn’t work like that. You don’t get both,” someone else tweeted.

How The Left Pretends To Champion Women While Actually Erasing Them

It’s sad and ironic: Hundreds of progressive women are preparing for the third annual Women’s March, but meanwhile, the progressive movement is seeking to eliminate female-only spaces in society that offer myriad benefits to women.

This effort is rooted in the left’s misunderstanding of the sexes and will ultimately reveal a deeper conflict: You can’t be pro-woman if you deny that womankind is distinct.

The Assault on Women-Only Spaces

Here are two troubling developments. The Anchorage Equal Rights Commission is investigating a women’s homeless shelter for turning away a man, threatening to force the shelter to close. Homeless women, particularly those who have been victims of abuse, deserve to have women-only spaces where they can feel safe.

Harvard University, after attempting to sanction students for participating in single-sex groups and clubs, is involved in litigation with sororities challenging the rule. This wrongheaded university policy ignores the important ways that students, especially women, benefit from and feel empowered by single-sex organizations.

The elimination of women-only spaces might seem like an innocuous effort to include men or transgender people, but it’s ultimately rooted in the left’s view that women and men are not or should not be different in any way. After all, they came first for the male-only groups, like the Boy Scouts (now just “Scouts”). Perhaps the assault on women-only spaces was just the logical next step in the left’s effort to erase or cover up sex differences.

Thankfully, Women and Men Aren’t the Same

Behind these efforts is a confusion of equality with sameness. This is evident in the never-ending and misguided quest for gender parity in all things. While we should all welcome equal opportunity for women and men in all aspects of life, we should also recognize that, due to sex differences, men and women will often make different choices that result in different outcomes.

The wage gap is a classic example. Women earn less than men do on average, primarily because of choices. Other examples, such as a disparity in bicycle riding and pot smoking, range from interesting to ridiculous, but still don’t represent gaps in need of closing. Inevitably, closing all gender gaps would mean urging (or requiring) women to act more like men, and vice versa, rather than allowing the freedom to be feminine or to follow one’s individual preferences, whatever they may be.

Folks on the left might admit that women make different choices, but they often couch this admission in language about “gendered expectations” or the different socialization of girls and boys. While of course it’s true that our society (and every society in history) treats girls and boys differently, it’s also true that much of our differences as men and women are hardwired. It’s actually sexism of a different strain to essentially suggest that women are all brainwashed into making what the left considers inferior choices.

. . . This ideology will necessarily hurt women. For example, feminist supporters of the ERA should ask themselves: Would it really be a victory for women to be forced to enroll in the draft?

I had a great chat on the plane on Thursday with a lass from Boston MA who has fled to near Sarajevo to escape the collapse of the united states.

Seems things in the US are starting to fall fast now. Understandably she wasn't such a huge Trump fan like me though.

Friday Humor: Progress On Toxic Masculinity Turns Woman's Boyfriend Into "Weepy Little Pansy"

  • Expressing disbelief at her romantic partner’s dramatic behavioral shift, local woman Emily Kittleson, 30, told reporters Friday that she had not expected her boyfriend’s attempts to recognize and curtail toxic masculinity would eventually turn him into a “weepy little pansy.”

“Christ, I know the dope is trying to be conscious of the effects of his words and actions and to be more open and honest with his emotions, but there’s got to be a limit,” said Kittleson of her boyfriend Shane Magnusen, 31, whose efforts to reject toxic masculinity have begun to irritate her as she claims he has evolved into “a fragile fucking flower about everything” in recent weeks.

Of course I’m happy for social progress and all, but this ineffectual shit is not what I signed up for.

Instead of suppressing his emotions about major issues in his life, he cries at sad commercials. Our fights used to be him screaming at me for a few minutes and that was it, not great but not terrible. Then last night we get into an argument that somehow turns into me nodding and making comforting noises while he talks about his strained relationship with his dad until well after midnight. Like, come on, I don’t have time to indulge this self-centered crap.”

Kittleson was also compelled to interrupt her statements twice, groaning and rolling her eyes while responding to text messages from Shane regarding their couples’ therapy appointments later that week.

Excellent - Much needed Truth here !

Watch Company Launches Response To Gillette ‘Toxic Masculinity’ Ad; It Goes Viral

On Tuesday, Egard Watch Company released an advertisement on YouTube in response to Gillette’s controversial ad regarding alleged "toxic masculinity."

The video features footage of men in various situations — from fighting fires to hugging their children — while the company’s founder, Ilan Srulovicz, narrates. The footage and narration are accompanied by sobering statistics relating to men.
"What is a man?" Srulovicz asks as a fireman carries a child from a burning building. "Is a man brave?" The on-screen text reads: "Men account for 93% of workplace fatalities." The number comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
"Is a man a hero? Is a man a protector? Is a man vulnerable? Is a man disposable? Is a man broken? Is a man trying?"
As each of the above questions are asked, the following statistics are shown on the screen:

WOMEN’S RIGHTS? Man Forced To Allow Ex To Use Sperm To Get Pregnant - And Then Pay Child Support

Feminism 4.0 wants to enslave all men

WOMEN’S RIGHTS? Man Forced To Allow Ex To Use Sperm To Get Pregnant - And Then Pay Child Support

gettyimages-496739570.jpg
For all we hear about women supposedly not having equal rights to men, it sure seems that in some cases, women have more rights than men.

Case in point: An Arizona court recently ruled that a woman wanting to use her ex-husband’s saved sperm to become pregnant “outweigh[ed]” the man’s desire not to become a father. Due to this court ruling, the man could also be liable for 18 years of child support.
In 2014, Ruby Torres was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer. She was told that after chemotherapy she likely wouldn’t be able to become pregnant. She and her then-boyfriend John Terrell decided to preserve some embryos so that she might one day be able to become a mother.
The couple would eventually marry but then divorced, according to the Arizona Republic. During the divorce, Terrell wanted to make sure Torres couldn’t use the embryos to become pregnant. He brought his case to the Maricopa County Superior Court, who ruled the embryos should go to a third party. Torres appealed, and received a win on March 14.
“The trial court erred when it placed heavy weight on the parties’ inability to 'co-parent,'" Judge Jennifer B. Campbell wrote in a 2-1 decision overturning the lower court’s finding. "Nothing in the record suggests that either of them expected or intended to co-parent any offspring derived from the embryos."
Terrell, it turns out, originally declined to donate his sperm for the embryos, but changed his mind when Torres suggested she would use an ex-boyfriend’s sperm instead. The court ruled that the couple only agreed to preserve the embryos because of the potential for Torres to be unable to conceive in the future, not for the two to co-parent at some point.
In her dissenting opinion, Judge Maria Elena Cruz wrote that Torres and Terrell signed a contract when they preserved the embryos that both parents would have to provide “express, written consent” for the embryos to be used. Torres even testified acknowledging that “we did sign a contract and we agreed to these provisions.”
The court has now ignored that contract, according to Judge Cruz

Eternal Numbers Mystery ... SOLVED!

For a hetero-sexual man to have sex, there must be a partner, right?

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ8S8-efXP06nsBBkm5NeO
Women 'better at hiding infidelity'...

Tokyo (AFP) - You can't hide your lying eyes: scientists have revealed that women can judge whether a man is likely to be unfaithful just by looking at his face but men are less able to spot a cheating woman.

Researchers at the University of Western Australia took a group of 1,500 people and showed them pictures of 189 Caucasian adults (101 men and 88 women), having first asked them if they had been unfaithful to their partners.

Respondents were then asked to rank these faces on a scale of one to 10, where one is "not at all likely to be unfaithful" and 10 is "extremely likely" to play the field.

The result, published in the journal Royal Society Open Science, was that "both men and women were accurate in assessing men's, but not women's, likelihood to cheat and poach."

The scientists wanted to examine not only whether men and women could spot potential infidelity in each other but also whether it was possible to detect a possible "poacher" of the same sex.

They cited research showing that 70 percent of people across more than 50 cultures report an attempt to poach someone else's partner and 60 percent saying they were successful.

The results were "not as expected", the scientists admitted. Men were able to spot potential poachers among other men but even when other women were judging, the female of the species was inscrutable.
