The Slimes is exposing itself in the Sweinstein scandal

ALL-in-the-Family

HARVEYWOOD CRACKING...
ANOTHER ONE: MYSTERY ACTOR IN WEINSTEIN SCANDAL...
A-LIST 'ASSAULT'...

KATZENBERG: 'THERE'S PACK OF WOLVES'...
WITHERSPOON: I was assaulted by director at 16...
JENNIFER LAWRENCE: Told 'perfectly f--kable' at 15, made to stand nude in lineup...

NY Slimes spin:

Harvey Weinstein is certainly not the first powerful man publicly and credibly accused of sexually harassing or abusing women in recent years.

Since 2015, the Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, the Fox News prime-time host Bill O’Reilly and the comedian and actor Bill Cosby have suffered professional, financial or reputational setbacks after numerous women told stories of their sexual misconduct.

Those stories dominated news cycles, to be sure, but the outcry accompanying Mr. Weinstein’s downfall seems louder and more impassioned — perhaps because Mr. Weinstein’s accusers include stars like Ashley Judd, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.

No! you dog-garned Fake news font!

it is because what Sweinstein has done and the frequency of which he has done it, are far far worse than someone like

OReilly, who has said to call staffer "hot chocolate"A

Also, people are fed up to the back-teeth with powerful leftwingers (including Hollywood Joos!) demanding free passes for bad behavior.

People are learning from the Sweinstein scandal that powerful scumbags (& their protector media) can be taken on and BEATEN

The Lie Stream media is looking the other way as news of Clinton corruption finally comes to light

SHOCKING: Within the FBI then, were the same people who are investigating Trump's "Russia connections" now.

$145 Million collected (from Russians) by Clinton charities, and never reported

Shocking FBI Corruption Exposed | True News

Here are some points I know from personal knowledge & research:

frank_giustra_bill_clinton.jpg

+ Frank Guistra was an insider at Uranium One when the deal was concluded

+ Guistra used to travel with Bill Clinton, and was involved with CGI / Clinton Global Initiative when the deal was concluded

(would it be surprising if FG helped to negotiate the bribe to the Clintons??)

(I met FG years ago and followed his connection to the Clintons - see below,

and even crashed a CGI event in HK several years ago, to see how the large event was conducted.)

===
"On July 5, 2005, Southern Cross Resources Inc. and Aflease Gold and Uranium Resources Ltd announced that they would be merging

- under the name SXR Uranium One Inc.[3]

In 2007 Uranium One acquired a controlling interest in UrAsia Energy,a Canadian firm with headquarters in Vancouver, from Frank Giustra.UrAsia Energy has interests in rich uranium operations in Kazakhstan. UrAsia Energy's acquisition of its Kazakhstan uranium interests from Kazatomprom followed a trip to Almaty in 2005 by Giustra and former U.S. President Bill Clinton where they met with Nursultan Nazarbayev, the leader of Kazakhstan.

Substantial contributions to the Clinton Foundation by Giustra followed. The Podesta Group then lobbied on behalf of Uranium One"

TRUMP PICKS ANTITRUST SIMONS FOR FTC...

As FTC chairman, Simons would take over an agency that is investigating the massive data breach at Equifax Inc., which exposed the personal information of more than 145 million Americans. It’s also in litigation against Qualcomm Inc. for allegedly abusing its monopoly in the market for smartphone chips, a case Ohlhausen opposed.

The FTC, which investigates mergers and consumer-protection cases, has been operating with three empty seats on its five-member commission. The other seat is held by Democratic Commissioner Terrell McSweeny. McSweeny and Ohlhausen split over Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc.’s acquisition of about 2,000 Rite Aid Corp. stores, allowing the deal to proceed.

Trump is behind past administrations in choosing a chairman for the FTC. President Barack Obama named Commissioner Jon Leibowitz as chairman in February 2009. Bush selected Timothy Muris in March 2001.

Simons was chief of the FTC’s competition bureau, which investigates mergers and anticompetitive conduct, from 2001 to 2003. During that time, the commission blocked Libbey Inc.’s plan to buy glassware rival Anchor Hocking from Newell Rubbermaid and the combination of pickle makers Vlasic Foods International and Claussen Pickle

CBS ... update : 5-yrs :

CBS puts on Monday Night Football (NFL) - & pays alot to the NFL to do so

EXCERPT:

SCHIFFER: "Well, it's interesting, Neil. I think where it's going to go, is they're going to pull way back. I think they overreacted. To push back against the president --"
CAVUTO: "Who's -- who's going go pull back way back?"
SCHIFFER: "I think the NFL."
CAVUTO: "OK."
SCHIFFER: "I think the NFL is going to have to. And the -- the different teams, they overextend themselves to go after the president defined themselves. They then defined themselves on behalf of the players. And they alienated this significant swath of viewers that look at the NFL's move as a complete shot at them, a disrespect to the principles and heart of what they believe and certainly, patriotism. And so they're voting. They're going to vote in subscribership with DIRECTV and others. They're going to vote with their pocketbook. And they're making their voice very loud. And certainly advertisers, they have to be aware of this now and advertisers are much like anyone else, in partisan areas like this, it puts them in harm's way. So they're going to bail all which is bad for the NFL. It was the worst branding move of -- of modern history, in terms of sports, a really bad choice. And Goodell owns it. He made the decision to attack the president, and it was a bad choice."

$1B Worth of Fiat Currency Going To Zero? Kitco News02:15PM

=== ===

(Kitco News) - If you think fiat currencies don’t have an expiry date, think again.

currencies_resized.jpg

The Swiss franc – known to many as a safe-haven currency – is set to expire soon, making up to one billion francs worthless.

This expiration date applies only to franc bank notes that were introduced in 1976, as reported on the Wall Street Journal Friday.

“Switzerland is unique among rich countries because its bank notes--from the 10-franc bill all the way to the mighty 1,000-franc bill ($1,025)--lose all of their value 20 years after they are replaced by new ones. Franc coins are always usable,” the media report said.

In May 2000, the bank notes were taken out of circulation and that is when the 20-year time frame began.

. . .

President Donald Trump is considering a scenario in which he would nominate Fed Governor Jerome Powell and Stanford University economist John Taylor for the two top positions at the Federal Reserve Board, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said on Friday.

Under the scenario, Trump would pick one or the other for the Fed chair position and the other for vice chair.

. . .

“The fact is that the world is a minefield these days with potential problems that are likely to launch one if not both of the commodities that the world watches like a hawk much higher than their current prices.”

For Hecht, the marketplace is on thin ice, especially as he analyzed different regions in the world with the potential to spark geopolitical uncertainty. For that reason, oil and safe-haven assets like gold should remain floored.

“Gold and crude oil are highly sensitive political commodities, and the current state of the world is highly supportive for price gains in both on a long-term basis,” he wrote.

Interesting Interview with "Paladin" - but how real is it?

PALADIN: WHITE HAT RE VEGAS SHOOTINGS & FINANCE

His comments on the Las Vegas shooting are thought-provoking.

He also has some intriguing bits on the Numerology of the Vegas / Madulay incident

Then he comes on to talking the financial reset (at about XX minutes) - which may or may not have reality to it.

Currency RESET talk has been around a long time.

I think these so-called elites make many plans, but they rarely seem to work out as they have planned:

===

+ Hillary was not elected

+ Guns have not been taken away

President Trump said recently: "this is the calm before the storm"

AT LAST!

After all these years, we might learn some truth

TRUMP ORDERS RELEASE OF JFK FILES

Donald Trump has announced he intends to allow the release of the “long blocked and classified” files on the John F Kennedy (JFK) assassination.

The announcement, made against the advice of the National Security Council, has prompted claims the President is seeking to distract the public from a series of negative stories.

The declaration was made on Twitter, with the President saying: “Subject to the receipt of further information, I will be allowing, as President, the long blocked and classified JFK FILES to be opened.”

JFK assassination: Cronkite informs a shocked nation

The decision was met with a mixed response.

“This is enough to distract from Trump’s lies, investigations and incompetence,” said sociologist Dr DaShanne Stokes. “Of course Trump will allow it.”

Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, said the release “will prove I was NOT involved, ending rumours and speculation. I was in the third grade.”

But political scientist Larry Sabato said: “Thank you. This is the correct decision. Please do not allow exceptions for any agency of government. JFK files have been hidden too long.”

I am one of those people who left CA. At the height of the housing boom, my $200K house that I had owned for 8 years was suddenly worth $950K. I jumped on that! I now lead a much more relaxed lifestyle, & have no plans to ever move back. Where I am now, I can even drink water right out of the tap, imagine that!

Startling and sobering.

DETROIT's Pitch... for Amazon's 2nd HQ

With numerous cities offering tax breaks and subsidies (and even hashtagged holidays), does this create a race to the bottom, with Amazon ending up with the city willing to pay the most for the privilege? (It certainly seems less transparent than Toronto’s celebrated victory yesterday in landing Sidewalk Labs as a development partner for a future smart city district, since Toronto offered no subsidies or tax breaks). Is this how we should fund transformative urban development in the United States, a contest to impress a retail giant as opposed to a larger version of the Smart City Challenge, which spurred on progressive tech and city design in multiple cities?

Curbed broke down the good, the bad, and the somewhat embarrassing submissions made by cities around the country.

Best production value: Detroit’s “Move Here Move the World” video

As a Curbed Detroit reader commented, this plays like a “21st century version of the glossy chamber of commerce brochure.” Produced by Bedrock, the real estate

development firm owned by billionaire Dan Gilbert, a big force in downtown Detroit, it’s glossy, well-narrated, and daresay poignant.

Detroit has gotten some positive press for its bid, which is the only trans-national bid, due to the inclusion of Windsor, Canada. Even urbanist Richard Florida listed the city as his sleeper pick. The city seems to be playing off its past, and well as its potential, and this video hits both those points perfectly.

9 prime places in Philly for Amazon’s HQ2, mapped

Tons of cities have gone to great lengths to convince Amazon that they’re the best pick: A Georgia town said it will change its name to Amazon if the e-commerce giant sets up shop there. Birmingham, Alabama set up a bunch of ginormous Amazon boxes around its city.

Philly, which could actually be a top contender, took to the actual internet, launching a three-day video campaign that touted three main reasons why #PhillyDelivers for Amazon HQ2: Its logistics, workforce talent, and livability.

PHILLY in Third (says Moody's) - Could move higher...

The latest report questioning where Amazon’s next headquarters should be ranks Philly as the third best choice, with the potential to move into first place.

That’s according to Moody’s Analytics, which just published its report on Economy.com. It deemed Austin, Texas as the best metro for Amazon HQ2, with Atlanta and Philadelphia rounding out the top three spots, respectively.

Moody’s took a data-driven approach to its findings, focusing on five main criteria:

1) business environment, 2) human capital (i.e. skilled workforce), 3) cost, 4) quality of life, and 5) transportation.

Choices: Amazon says it got 238 entries for 2nd headquarters

ABC News
Proposals were due last week, and Amazon made clear that tax breaks and grants would be a big factor in deciding what entry prevails.

Amazon.com Inc. did not specify which cities or metro areas applied, but many of the location have made their interest public. The company said Monday the proposals came from 43 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, as well as three Mexican states and six Canadian provinces.

In a tweet, the company said it was "excited to review each of them."

Besides looking for financial incentives, Amazon had stipulated that it wanted to be near a metropolitan area with more than a million people; be able to attract top technical talent; be within 45 minutes of an international airport; have direct access to mass transit; and be able to expand that headquarters to as much as 8 million square feet in the next decade.

NASA Discovers Earth Has a Second Moon

This is why we love NASA.

Just when you think we've learned everything we can about something as seemingly predictable as the moon, NASA makes the kind of significant discovery that forces us to reconsider everything.

If greatness were measured by a planet's moon count, Jupiter would easily take the crown with its 69 satellites, but there are some interesting things happening around Earth too. Of course, there's trusty Luna who keeps our waves waving and our nights lit, but as NASA recently learned, Earth has another lunar love.

According to NASA, Earth has been locked in a cosmic waltz with an asteroid for around 100 years.

Asteroid 2016 HO3 was first spotted on April 27, 2016 by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope in Hawaii. It orbits around the sun and also orbits Earth, passing either in front of or behind our planet (farther away than our actual moon) and bobbing up and down in what the space organization describes as a "game of leap frog."

The asteroid is larger than 120 feet and smaller than 300 feet across, and NASA believes that the "quasi-satellite" will stick around for hundreds of years.

Is China's Bitcoin Ban On the Verge of Being Lifted? Kitco NewsOct 23

With Bitcoin nearing in on a record high of more than $6,000, many investors are hopeful China will lift its ban on the cryptocurrency, adding fuel to its run-up.

But Gordon Chang, author of Nuclear Showdown is not so certain liberalization is in the currency's future.

"There has been optimism that after the Communist Party's 19th National Congress there is going to be liberalization in many areas of the economy -- that is possible. But cryptocurrencies are something of a special case," Chang said on Monday.

In September, China banned mainland residents from trading in cryptocurrencies on exchanges.

. . .

Australia is very close to introducing regulations for the cryptocurrency market, with the country’s Parliament scheduled to vote on a new anti-money laundering bill this week.

The news comes as bitcoin hit a new all-time high over the weekend, breaching the $6,100 level on Saturday. The cryptocurrency’s surge is unprecedented, as just a year ago it was trading at $630.

But, many analysts believe that bitcoin is doomed to fail, largely due to threats posed by possible government regulations.

Gold prices will only go up, rising as high as $1,400 next year, but the “real” bull market won’t get going until it sees an actual pickup in inflation, said mining magnate Pierre Lassonde.

“For gold to get into the next real bull market we need signs of inflation. So far we haven’t seen them,” the chairman of Franco-Nevada told German newspaper Finanz and Wirtschaft.

“The Federal Reserve and other central banks have piled up huge reserves. But there is no inflation because the money is sitting within the banks and they are not lending it. Therefore, you don’t get a multiplier effect.”

But, inflation could accelerate soon enough, with both reconstruction following the damage caused by hurricanes Irma and Harvey in the U.S. as well as a recovery in Europe moving the needle in the right direction, he said.

This year, Lassonde sees prices remaining between the $1,250-1,350 range and then rising up to $1,400 an ounce next year.
