The law that forces College professors to use a long list of invented "gender pronouns" shows how lost Canada has become

It is discussed in the first 10 minutes of this conversation

Justin versus The handshake

Justin Trudeau's handshake with Donald Trump the 'biggest display of dominance in the history of Canada'

Adam Boult,The Telegraph Tue 14 Feb

No longer are diplomatic power struggles between nations played out in intense negotiations and high stakes summits. Instead, it's all in the handshake.

Donald Trump had left Shinzo Abe, the Japanese prime minister, reeling after a 19 second handshake last week in the White House.

Before that, the US president had grasped Theresa May's hand in an act that was splashed across the front pages as a sign of the "special relationship".

So when Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister, became the third world leader to visit the White House on Monday, all eyes were on the all-important shaking of the hands as they met outside.

"Quite amazing," wrote one Twitter user. "Look at the battle going on in that handshake as Trudeau resists the Trump 'grip and yank'. To the gym world leaders!"

According to some students of body-language, Mr Trudeau appeared to deliberately "cut off Trump's leverage" to deter any strong-arming one-upmanship.

"Notice how Trudeau does the 'alpha shoulder grab' before Trump can do the 'alpha rip his arm off' handshake," one noted on Twitter.

Canada: No longer a country, now a collective Joke

A massive sign of its rapid decline - a total loss of sense & logic

Against: Science and Nature, they impose politically correct ideology on gender

The mentally sick country has now painted a huge target on its back

Canada Passes Law Mandating Gender Theory Acceptance

Published on Jun 17, 2017

Canadian senators have passed a new law which explicitly prohibits discrimination against transgender Canadians and affords them protection against hate crimes. But it's a little bit more complicated than that.

Thank God, the USA still retains basic rationality on this issue

TRUDEAU HOT SEAT OVER MIGRANT CRISIS
'GIVING FALSE HOPE'

Canada frets over possible huge surge in asylum-seekers: sources

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada fears a huge surge in asylum seekers crossing the border from the United States,

putting political pressure on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ahead of a 2019 election, sources familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

. . .

The number of migrants illegally entering Canada more than tripled in July and August, hitting nearly 7,000.

Haitians, who face looming deportation from the United States when their temporary protected status expires in January 2018, accounted for much of the inflow.

Two sources familiar with Canadian government thinking said citizens from El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras, who are slated to lose their U.S. protected status in early 2018, may also head north.

The Justin Trudeau Lovefest Gets a Reality Check

Trudeau’s support stands at 37.9 percent, down eight points from a year ago

160920181736-justin-trudeau-super-tease.

Nice hair., little substance?

Midway through the prime minister’s first term, once-charmed Canadians are asking hard questions about health care, taxes, and the budget deficit.

So far, Canada has largely avoided the kind of populist upheaval that put Donald Trump in the White House, undercut Chancellor Angela Merkel, and gave rise to Brexit. Much of the credit for this lands on Justin Trudeau, the buoyant 45-year-old heartthrob prime minister with a penchant for selfies and quirky socks who champions free trade and welcomes refugees. He’s cultivated an image of a tolerant, open, progressive Canada that, incidentally, boasts the strongest economic growth in the Group of Seven.

Outside Canada, it looks enviable: a charismatic leader with a powerful majority government and a solid economy. But internally, the shine is fading. Two years into Trudeau’s first term, a polling aggregator run by the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. shows his support at 37.9 percent, down eight points from a year ago—still strong in Canada’s three-party system. He campaigned as a friendly Everyguy, but scandals within Trudeau’s administration have sullied that image. His finance minister, Bill Morneau, isunder fire for holding substantial shares in his family’s business through a shell company. Although that’s not technically against the rules, Morneau says he’s sold his shares. A bid for tax reform that would’ve hit high-earning professionals blew up, and Trudeau’s chief fundraiser, Stephen Bronfman, is linked in the Paradise Papers to an offshore trust.

Laurier Teacher Speaks Out

(I am not Canadian, so I can safely share my own view here, on my non-Canadian website):

Radical trannies are now at War with ordinary "normies" (normal people).

They are demanding special rights, such as the right to use inappropriate bathrooms,

and special privileges, like the right to have their (expensive) gender-reassignment operations paid for by taxpayers.

The Reality is - they are denying biology.

Sex cannot be changed. And the operations rarely achieve their intended purpose.

A very high percentage of post-op Transexuals commit suicide. If the operations worked, we would not see that

Trudeau vs. Singh Is Next Battle for Hearts of Canada’s Left

  • New Democrat leader also has mass appeal, penchant for selfies
  • Singh vows new social programs paid for by taxes or deficits

Justin Trudeau swept to power in Canada as a fresh face pledging to tax the rich and help the masses. Now a rival has picked up his playbook.

Halfway through his mandate, Trudeau’s two main challengers are in place for the 2019 election, each younger than he is. To the political right is Conservative Andrew Scheer, Trudeau’s closest competitor in popular support and number of current lawmakers. But it’s the man on the left who could determine the fate of Trudeau’s Liberals.

800x-1.jpg

Jagmeet Singh, 38, the trilingual lawyer elected Oct. 1 as New Democratic Party leader, is taking on the prime minister at his own game, preaching left-leaning policies, a friend-of-the-masses mantra and an urban focus, all while indulging a penchant for selfies.

Singh is looking to cash in on disenchantment as Trudeau fumbles his lofty pledges. “They haven’t actually invested in the social programs we’re proposing or talking about,” he said in an interview. “Their commitments haven’t really rung true.”

Corporate Tax

The NDP, which has governed provincially but not federally, is a party member of Socialist International, and Singh’s platform evokes shades of Bernie Sanders. He wants to raise the corporate tax rate to 19.5 percent from 15 percent, expand Canada’s universal healthcare system and block Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain expansion, the country’s only major proposed domestic oil pipeline. He also wants to create new tax brackets for high earners, raise levies on stock options and tax 75 percent of capital gains, up from 50 percent.

“The first thing I would do would be an expanded social program and electoral reform,” he said, listing options such as paying for pharmaceuticals and dental care, big-ticket items not covered in Canada’s public system. Pharmacare alone would cost almost C$20 billion ($15.5 billion) annually, adding about 16 percent to federal spending.

Singh is breaking from his predecessor, Thomas Mulcair, by considering deficits, while Scheer, who became leader in May, regularly criticizes Trudeau for running them.

“I’m open to deficits if it’s to keep the economy supported and also to prevent austerity, to continue supporting social programs,” he said.

Quebec Problem

An NDP win is currently a long shot. The party sits at 16.6 percent in polls, little changed from when Singh became leader. He has neither a seat in parliament nor any immediate plans to seek one. He regularly says reviving NDP fortunes will take time.

Canada's G7 presidency: A 'progressive agenda' at risk...

Montreal (AFP) - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promises a "progressive agenda" for Canada's G7 presidency in 2018, but talks may once again hit a snag over climate change after the US withdrawal from the Paris agreement.

For Justin Trudeau, this presidency comes at a time when his government has been struggling with a difficult renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with the United States and Mexico, which was demanded by US President Donald Trump amid rising American protectionism.

Gender equality, climate change and economic growth "that works for everyone" are among Ottawa's top priorities for the meeting of the world's largest advanced economies -- Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States.

Trudeau said in a statement that he wants the talks to focus on "finding real, concrete solutions" to these issues.

NO TIME for the SJW-run State

Donald Trump becomes the first president in 40 years not to visit Canada in his first year

Ronald Reagan made his first presidential trip to Canada four months into his term.
George H.W. Bush visited Canada just three weeks into his term.
For Bill Clinton, it was two-and-a-half months. For George W. Bush, it was three months. And for Barack Obama, it was one month.

Trudeau Heckled and boo'd at town hall
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's third town hall of his cross-country tour began with two tense standoffs with hecklers who interrupted questioners.

The first came when Trudeau was trying to answer a question from a young boy who asked the prime minister how he deals with his "haters."

"I don't really have to worry too much about being defined by what someone thinks of me," Trudeau said, noting that, as a child, people would tell him that they did not like him because their parents didn't like his father.

A woman then stood up in the crowd and started shouting about free speech, the security threat posed by Canadians who left to join ISIS and are now beginning to return home, and the decision to locate the town hall at a university.

Shortly afterward, another questioner was interrupted by a man shouting at Trudeau without the benefit of a microphone about the Canadian government persecuting him.
