The FBI is Out-of-Control ! / FIB & the Fibbers

Is the FBI's Comey just correcting a "FIB"- to restore his reputation?

A FIB = is A Lie ... Is that what the FBI has Come to under Comey's leadership?

r3iyPNK.jpg

Some say that Comey had to make his announcement (about reopening the Clinton investigation) because:

+ The agents were about to mutiny

+ The NY police had the Weiner-collected emails, and were about to release them, if the FBI did not move

Here's Stefan Molyneux (and Mike's) take on this mess:

Hillary Clinton's FBI Investigation: What You Need To Know!

WASH POST PAGE ONE FRIDAY:

Deep divisions intensify between FBI and Justice Dept over Clinton investigations... Developing...

‘He’s got to get control of the ship again’: How tensions at the FBI will persist after the election

Deep divisions inside the FBI and the Justice Department over how to handle investigations dealing with Hillary Clinton will probably fester even after Tuesday’s presidential election and pose a significant test for James B. Comey’s leadership of the nation’s chief law enforcement agency.

The internal dissension has exploded into public view recently with leaks to reporters about a feud over the Clinton Foundation, an extraordinary airing of the agency’s infighting that comes as the bureau deals with an ongoing threat of terror at home and a newly aggressive posture from Russia.

Comey, meanwhile, has come under direct fire for his decision to tell Congress that agents were resuming their investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server — a revelation that put him at odds with his Justice Department bosses and influenced the presidential campaign.

“He’s got to get control of the ship again,” said Robert Anderson, a former senior official in the FBI who considers Comey a friend. “There’s a lot of tension in the organization, and there’s a lot of tension in Congress and the Senate right now, and all that counts toward how much people trust the FBI.”

(Hmm. Will the patriotic FBI agents accept him as their Leader and controller?

He seems to have behaved like a puppet for the Corrupt Obama administration)

[FBI agents pressed Justice unsuccessfully for probe of Clinton Foundation]

FBI agents argued — based at least in part on news accounts — earlier this year that the Clinton Foundation should be investigated for potentially giving donors special political access and favors. The Justice Department’s public integrity unit said they did not have enough evidence to move forward.

The Clinton Foundation said it was never contacted by the FBI, suggesting the bureau’s efforts were in a preliminary stage as prosecutors weighed in. But agents in New York have sought to keep their inquiries alive, feuding with the Justice Department about the lengths to which they can go, according to people familiar with the matter.

That infighting became public Sunday, when the Wall Street Journal published a detailed account of interactions between prosecutors and FBI officials over the politically sensitive subject.

[Why the FBI director was able to defy Justice bosses on Clinton email announcement]

Justice Department officials could have overruled FBI Director James B. Comey’s surprising decision to notify Congress about the renewed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server, but they stopped short of ordering him to back down.

Their decision partly reflected the institutional power of the FBI director, Comey’s personality and the political realities they were facing, according to current and former Justice officials. In this case, officials said Comey put the department in an untenable position by informing them that he was sending a letter to Congress because he had an obligation to lawmakers or they would feel misled.

“At the end of the day, if you have the FBI director telling Justice that he has an obligation to tell Congress, there is no way you can direct the FBI to do otherwise,” said one official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “That’s too fraught. You can’t direct someone to withhold information from Congress. That’s not a prudent way to do things.”

Comey, a veteran federal prosecutor and former deputy attorney general, has long prided himself on being fiercely independent and making decisions on principle...

[FBI agents waited weeks to tell Comey about Clinton emails]

Comey has just announced there will be no further action against Clinton. So it took them a week or so to review 33,000 emails and conclude she did nothing wrong???? Ridiculous and looks like this was a set up to give Clinton a boost before Tuesday, they were never going to indict her. Also probably to try to take the heat off of any major Wikileaks email.

The positive from this is that there's no way the witch was miles in front in the polls like they were saying. If she was, why bother pulling something like this that makes the FBI look ridiculous and more importantly gifted Trump a lot of early votes. It's a gamble going down this route and the only reason to gamble at this stage would be if it was very close or Trump was in front.

The Clinton foundation investigation is still ongoing but after this shambles no doubt she'll skate on that too.

Loretta Lynch's influence is all over this

The lying NYT is infected with the Hillary virus and needs to be taken down

‘You can’t review 650,000 new emails in eight days!’ Furious Trump blasts FBI Director after Hillary is cleared over second email investigation sparked by Anthony Weiner’s teen sexting scandal

  • FBI announced it will not change the decision it reached in July after investigating Hillary Clinton's emails
  • Director James Comey announced the potentially election-changing news in an email on Sunday afternoon
  • The latest finding means the Democratic nominee will not be charged with anything from the email scandal
  • Hillary's camp addressed Comey's letter after it was published, saying it is 'glad that the matter is resolved'
  • Donald Trump was quick to trash the latest decision, saying Clinton is being protected by a 'rigged system'

Trump (above) said: 'The rank-and-file special agents in the FBI won't let her get away with her terrible crimes – including the deletion of 33,000 emails after receiving a congressional subpoena. Right now she's being protected by a rigged system!'

Investigators believe FBI agent, Michael Brown, 45, shot and killed his 33-year-old wife, Susan Brown, late Friday night before setting the couple’s home on fire and then turning the gun on himself. Brown was a 12 year veteran of the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department before spending the last six years in the FBI.

. . . ”

“The totality of the evidence leads us to believe this is a murder-suicide. We believe he killed her, set the house on fire and then took his own life,” Frederick said.

This may scare... or may p/ss-off some other agents. Let's see

UK here ...To be honest America all this boring now , it's 100% obvious nobody is going to go to jail . Clinton broke the law numerous times but walks free , my question is ...WTF is going on over there ? It's a free for all . Top officials blatantly doing as they like and getting rich doing it . All countries have corruption at the top but this is ridiculous

There is a war for truth going on

Trump is up against a corrupt establishment which is like being a lone gambler trying to break the house. I suspect he will have to make many compromises because the establishment will wear him down sooner or later - unless he's on a do or die mission.

It seems there are many different agenda's being played out and I think it would be dangerous and disruptive to try and expose and prosecute powerful adversaries at this time. He needs to wait until he's built up a powerful and loyal team around him as well as more support from the people which will take some time as he roots out the traitors of truth and change.

Look at how the UK protects pedophiles in high places when both the public and spy agencies know exactly who is involved. In the so called interest of the nation they wait until people have passed away plus 10 years before properly investigating and publicly decrying their crimes. I suspect the establishment is more concerned about it's reputation and standing than sending the Clinton's and the like to jail.

Ultimately I don't think there will be any accountability or justice only alignment to the criminal Elite corporations who control Governments and the majority of the worlds wealth

‘Stop breaking the law’: Snowden raises ‘red flag’ over testimony of NSA and FBI chiefs

https://www.rt.com/usa/381554-snowden-nsa-fbi-law/

Edward Snowden

You want to know how to stop the next whistleblower? Stop breaking the damn law!

Absolutely ...but when you have the Elites and Establishment breaking every moral code how can you ever stop whistleblowers - from state sponsored wars, terrorism, pedophilia, child abuse, Satanism, to drugs dealing, arms dealing and child trafficking. Whisleblowers are an essential safety net against wickedness, greed and lust for power in high places.

Edward Snowden has reacted to the testimony from the directors of the FBI and the NSA discussing whistleblowers before the House Intelligence Committee.

FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Michael Rogers testified before the House Select Committee on Intelligence on Monday. The questioning largely focused on allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election campaign and President Donald Trump’s accusation that his campaign was spied on by the Obama administration.

As the directors of two of America’s most prominent intelligence agencies answered a question about the leaking of classified information to the press, Snowden took to Twitter to raise a “red flag” about their testimony.

Edward Snowden

“Red flag: NSA Director careful to discuss only who can unmask USP [uS persons] identities in reporting, not who can access collection involving USPs, [uS persons]” Snowden tweeted.

“How many communications in which at least one participant is American are held by the NSA? The question not answered in Congress today.”

The former NSA contractor commented that the members of Congress asking the questions were conflating legality and morality, saying that while people who leak information may be breaking the law what they do is a moral act.

Edward Snowden

Congress conflates legality and morality. The Flynn leak was unlawful, but revealing official deception is moral.

The Leakers Who Exposed Gen. Flynn’s Lie Committed Serious — and Wholly Justified — Felonies

That a leak is illegal does not mean it deserves punishment. Oftentimes, the most just acts are precisely the ones that the law prohibits.

Snowden then retweeted a tweet from investigative journalist Carl Bernstein, who uncovered the Watergate scandal, which read: “I can state w[ith]/confidence that many intel members now decrying 'leaks' of classified info have themselves 'leaked' classified info knowingly.”

READ MORE: Trump trolled on Twitter as Comey debunks Obama wiretap claim

As Congressman Trey Gowdy asked whether journalists can be prosecuted for reporting on classified information Snowden said: "A member of Congress asked the Director of the FBI if journalists can be imprisoned for doing their jobs. Worse: Comey didn't say 'no.'"

Comey went on to claim that people can be deterred from leaking information if they know they could face prison for doing so. “This information can be deterred,” he said “It can be deterred by locking some people up.”

This is simply not true. Even monstrously unjust sentences (Manning) have been shown insufficient to deter the next whistleblower.

Snowden took issue with this statement, responding “This is simply not true. Even monstrously unjust sentences (Manning) have been shown insufficient to deter the next whistleblower.”

“You want to know how to stop the next whistleblower? Stop breaking the damn law,” he concluded.
