Tzipi Livni claims she had sex with two Palestinian figures, Erekat and Abed Rabbo and threatens them with video proof

The chief Israeli negotiator and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, said this week that she has had sex with the chief negotiator for the Palestinian Authority in the peace negotiations with Israel, Saeb Erekat and the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation(PLO) Yasser Abed Rabbo.

Livni’s sexual misdemeanours have been the fodder of the political Arab rumour mill for years, but until now, what the foxy Israeli politician got up to behind closed doors was all guess work.

Lebanese newspaper Al Diyyar broke the story earlier this week that the Knesset Beauty had publicy stated that she and the chief Rabbi of Israel had decided that “It was ok for her to sleep and have sex with strangers, as long as it benefits Israel”.

According to Al Diyyar, Livni said :“The room where I had sex with Palestinian figures as Saeb Erekat and Yasser Abed Rabbo was equipped with cameras.

The Palestinians Have Managed to Topple Another Israeli Government… by Gilad Atzmon

_____________

Occasionally, Israeli political and military leadership fail to survive Israeli wars. Prime Minister Golda Meir and her Chief Of Staff (David “Dado” Elazar) were sent home after the 1973 blunder (Yom Kippur war).

PM Menachem Begin lost his sanity after the first Lebanon war (1982). Defense Minister Amir Peretz and his Chief Of Staff’ Dan Halutz’ were treated harshly by the Israeli media following the 2006 defeat in Lebanon.

PM Benjamin Netanyahu is now paying a price for the recent Israeli disaster in Gaza and the Palestinian uprising that followed.

Strong nations tend to unite behind their leaders in times of crisis. The Israelis are spoiled. They prefer to turn against their leaders in times of conflict and not because they crave peace. Quite the opposite — they want to see a conclusive victory — buckets of Arab blood. Bibi didn’t provide the goods, and in the eyes of many Israeli patriots, he was a softy.

Jews in Israel Begin Massive Riots in the Streets

Major movement toward a country-wide shut-down by the Orthodox Jews due to police brutality in one of the most prominent yeshivot where violence has been ongoing for several weeks with many injured - and due to the anti-Orthodox stance the government has taken on all fronts, forcing scholars to go to war against their religious principles. Today roads across Israel are being shut down with hundreds of Jews protesting. This trend seems to be increasing as the hours go by.

Netanyahu: Symbol of Rogue Governance

Posted by Stephen Lendman on February 1, 2015

netanyahu1.jpg

by Stephen Lendman

Arguably he’s Israel’s worst ever prime minister. Disgracing the office he holds. A fascist by any standard. Exceeding Sharonian evil.

Even money to remain prime minister after mid-March elections. Israelis are as out-of-touch as Americans.

Mindlessly supporting what demands rejection. Why they put up with Netanyahu they’ll have to explain. A war criminal multiple times over.

So-called BibiTours charges remain outstanding. Unresolved because Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein seems intent on helping him remain prime minister, Haaretz contends.

Its editors state:

“This behavior is seen in a series of actions and blunders, the most recent and blatant of which was submitted to the High Court of Justice, as a response to a petition against Weinstein’s decision to suffice with an ‘examination’ of the suspicions against Netanyahu over the funding of trips and transfer of funds for other purposes when he was head of the opposition.”

At issue is Netanyahu benefitting from luxury travel. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are involved. Including alleged double-billing and forged receipts.

Official travel is one thing. Paid for by state funds. Wealthy donor supporters financing first-class flights, luxury hotels, fancy cars, personal assistants, entertainment and five-star restaurant meals for personal travel is quite another entirely.

These type perks are ethically questionable and then some. Perhaps illegal under Israeli party funding laws.

Haaretz accused state law enforcement of “dragg(ing) its feet.” On the pretext that Netanyahu isn’t “any (ordinary) suspect.”

Claiming his fate affects Israel’s entire political system is “groundless,” said Haaretz. “(I)f a prime minister…violate(s) the law, he must stand trial like anyone else.”

Israeli elections are six weeks away. Polls show Netanyahu’s Likud and Labor/Hatnua’s new Zionist Camp about even.

Newly released numbers have Likud winning 25 Knesset seats. Zionist Camp 24. Bayit Yehudi 14.

Joint Arab List 12. Yesh Atid 11. United Torah Judaism and Koolanu 8 each. Shas 7. Meretz 6. Yisrael Beiteinu 5.

No single party ever won a majority of Israel’s 120 Knesset seats. Coalitions govern.

Hardliners often dominate. For sure under Sharon and Netanyahu. Fascists by any standard.

Zionist Camp co-chair Tzipi Livni accused Netanyahu of spending “100,000 shekels of public funds over two years on alcohol.”

Around $25,000. Mostly on wine. For personal use. On January 30, Haaretz accused State Comptroller Joseph Shapira of “holding up a report on seemingly excessive expenditures at the prime minister’s residences.”

Waiting until post-elections. Perhaps intending to bury it altogether. Haaretz cites allegations involving hundreds of thousands of shekels.

Netanyahu improperly or illegally benefitted at taxpayers’ expense.

On February 1, Haaretz editors called him “a ticking cluster bomb, discharging its lethal load at time intervals and destroying the remains of Israel’s standing in the world.”

His “campaign propaganda (and irresponsible policies) threat(en) Israel’s security…

500 rabbis urge Israel to stop demolition of Palestinian homes

Published time: February 08, 2015

Over 500 rabbis from Israel, Britain, the US and Canada have called on the Israeli prime minister to stop demolishing Palestinian homes. Rabbis for Human Rights (RHR) say Benjamin Netanyahu’s stance is against “international law and Jewish tradition.”

RHR’s open letter came after the Israeli PM announced the destruction of over 400 Palestinian homes in the Israel-controlled part of the West Bank, the territory known as Area C.

“Thousands have been forced to build without permits, and great human suffering is caused when hundreds of homes are demolished each year in Area C alone,” RHR stated in their letter, adding that Israeli planning and zoning laws “severely restrict the ability of Palestinians to build homes, even on the lands that the State recognizes as belonging to them.”

According to the rabbis, there has been “no representation or true ability for Palestinians to determine how to properly plan for their communities since local and district planning committees were abolished in 1971. The army plans for them.”

DELUDED and Out of Touch... is Bibi

Prime minister says he will go anyplace he is invited to convey Israel’s position on Iran.

3406611381.jpg

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that despite the growing criticism both in Israel and the United States, he plans to address a joint session of the U.S. Congress to lobby against a nuclear deal with Iran, just as he went to Paris last month after the attack on a kosher supermarket.

“I went to Paris not just as the prime minister of Israel but as a representative of the entire Jewish people,” Netanyahu said, during a conference for French-speaking Likud activists. “Just as I went to Paris, so I will go anyplace I’m invited to convey the Israeli position against those who want to kill us. Those who want to kill us are, first and foremost, any Iranian regime that says outright it plans to destroy us. I will not hesitate to say what’s needed to warn against this danger, and prevent it.”

In fact, before the January 11 solidarity march for the victims of the terror attacks in Paris, the Élysée Palace had asked Netanyahu not to attend the march. The French made it clear they weren’t interested in diverting public attention to controversial issues like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and that they hoped the prime minister would understand. The French feared Netanyahu would exploit the event for election campaign purposes. Indeed, Netanyahu decided to go only after hearing that both Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Economy Minister Naftali Bennett were going to attend.

Speaking to members of the France’s Jewish community, Netanyahu dwelled on the Iranian issue and argued that only he, and not his rivals, Zionist Camp leaders Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni, could “stand up to Iran and the international community.”

Bibi is in trouble.

He is trying to sell himself as being strong on security.

The reaction?:

"During Bibi's failed tenure, Hamas dug 34 tunnels under our home," says a Zionist Union campaign video.

So he's getting pelted from both sides.

Chicago’s Mayor Emanuel Forced Into Runoff Election on April 7
February 25, 2015
1200x-1.jpg

Chicago Mayoral Candidates Campaign One Day Before Election

CHICAGO, IL - FEBRUARY 23: Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel talks with residents at a senior living center during a campaign stop

(Bloomberg) -- Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who breezed into City Hall four years ago, fell short of winning a majority against four opponents and will face Cook County Commissioner Jesus “Chuy” Garcia in an April 7 runoff.

The failure of Emanuel, a former White House chief of staff, to win more than 50 percent of the vote in the nonpartisan election is a clear sign of discord in the third-largest city, where $20 billion in unfunded pension liabilities threaten insolvency and citizens are plagued by persistent violence.

With 84 percent of precincts reporting, Emanuel had 45.5 percent and Garcia had 33.9 percent, according to the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners. The six-week runoff campaign will likely focus on the candidates’ solutions for addressing the financial crisis and gun crime.

Supporters at Garcia’s gathering in the West Loop neighborhood cheered, clapped and chanted, “Chuy! Chuy! Chuy!” as television stations reported the results.

The runoff marks a setback for Emanuel, 55, a skilled tactician and prodigious fundraiser who honed his talents in Washington and whose election four years ago generated speculation -- which he discouraged -- about a run for the White House.

Governing Chicago, where Emanuel was born before his family moved to the northern suburbs, has proven to be a daunting challenge. While Emanuel won the endorsements of much of the city’s establishment, including his predecessor, former Mayor Richard M. Daley, and former boss, President Barack Obama, his standing was weakened in black neighborhoods. Residents there said the 2013 closing of 50 public schools and persistent violent crime supported their complaint of “two Chicagos.”

Grinding Work

“Being a chief of staff in Washington and being a member of Congress, those are really different skill sets than what a mayor has to have,” said David Yepsen, director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University.

“These jobs that mayors and governors have today are very difficult and they chew up the best people,” Yepsen said. “And Rahm Emanuel is finding that out.”

The mayor, famous for both his political acumen and his temper, has triumphs to tout. Chicago celebrated the recruiting of at least 30 corporate headquarters in the past four years, and Emanuel began a program providing free community college for public-school students with at least a 3.0 grade point average.

(What sort of "businesses"? )

Last June, the city won the competition to be the home of “Star Wars” creator George Lucas’s museum of art and movie memorabilia. It is pursuing Obama’s proposed presidential library.

Sinking City

At the same time, the city of 2.7 million people faces possible insolvency, rooted in $20 billion in unfunded pension liabilities that weigh heavily on residents.

Its obligations have soared in the past decade, reaching almost $12,900 for each resident in fiscal 2013, up from $4,300 in 2004, according to the Civic Federation, a nonprofit research group that specializes in government finance.

Chicago’s route to stability could be undermined by the state, which is saddled with billions of dollars of budget and pension deficits. Newly elected Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, a Republican, last week proposed cutting more than $300 million in income-tax, transit and pension assistance to the city and its schools.

Although Emanuel reminded voters he didn’t raise property, gasoline or sales taxes during his first term, no such pledges have been made for the next four years. The city is obligated to pay $600 million into four pension funds in next year’s budget, and a boost in the property-tax levy hasn’t been ruled out to make that happen.

Moody’s Investors Service dropped Chicago’s rating three levels in July 2013, an unprecedented cut for such a populous U.S. city. The company lowered it again last March, to Baa1, three steps above speculative grade, with a negative outlook.

Even Mossad wants to see the backside of Bibi

- Here's how a story covered in the The Guardian was "soft-pedaled" in an Israel newpaper, The Times of Israel

(I reckon TTI must be a Bibi supporter)

Mossad cables hardly contradict Netanyahu on Iran Leaked memo dovetails with PM’s assertion on Tehran’s nuclear program, straying only in describing its progress rate

UN-General-Assembly-I_Horo-3-635x357.jpg

Comedian and Israel PM, Netanyahu his Wylie Coyote impression

To contradict, according to the Oxford English Dictionary online, is to “deny the truth of (a statement) by asserting the opposite.”

Used in a sentence, it might look like this: “Leaked cables show Netanyahu’s Iran bomb claim contradicted by Mossad” – which is fine in terms of usage, at least in the condensed prose of headlines, but only partially supported by the evidence provided by The Guardian and Al-Jazeera.

The two media outlets on Monday published a “secret” memo from the Mossad to its South African counterpart, the State Security Agency. The Guardian underscored this fragment of a sentence: “Iran at this time is not performing the activity necessary to produce weapons…” and claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “inflammatory rhetoric” and “alarmist tone” in describing the threat emanating from Tehran were directly at odds with the Mossad’s allegedly far more sanguine assessment.

Here’s the passage from Netanyahu’s 2012 UN General Assembly address that The Guardian highlighted: “By next spring, at most by next summer, at current enrichment rates, they will have finished the medium enrichment and move[d] on to the final stage. From there, it’s only a few months, possibly a few weeks, before they get enough enriched uranium for the first bomb.”

Note: enough uranium, not a nuclear weapon.

The Mossad, which intelligence historian and reporter Yossi Melman aptly noted on twitter is not on close terms with its South African counterpart, and therefore does not share with it sensitive information, does not substantively contradict Netanyahu’s statement.

It wrote that “Iran continues to improve its enrichment abilities and is even liable to advance them significantly” once the then-new centrifuges were put into service. It assessed that Iran is “making efforts” to put the IR40 reactor in Arak into operation, which is “expected to produce enough military-grade plutonium for one bomb per year” – although it would need a nuclear fuel reprocessing plant in order to be converted to fuel for weapons.

“In the area of nuclear of weapons,” the report stated, “there is continued R&D activity at SPND, under the Iranian Defense Ministry, which we understand is intended for accumulating know-how and creating an organizational framework [which] it will be able to make use of to produce nuclear fuel, when the order is given.”
