Cold Fusion....did they really do it?

If they did, then this will revolutionize the hell out of this planet!

Changes:

- fewer wars (no oil to fight over)

- cheap travel, including space

- a higher standard of living worldwide

- off the grid living possible anywhere

Cold fusion goes against regular text book physics so until it is proven to work who knows? I really hope it does.

One of the strange things is that instead of going through academic channels the inventors/discoverers are going to "let the market decide". Hmmm, I'm thinking sometimes the market can be pretty stupid.

PS. PESN is asking for donations (see bottom of page link). Check out there site and I recon you'll agree it's pretty cool stuff. Ahh gadgets *sigh* The guy who runs this site tipped off Gerald Celente (founder of the Trends Research Institute) about this (or was that the gravity thing) last year. I <3 PesN.

Logic, current evidence and common sense says that cold fusion can't happen. If it did I'm sure you'd see more evidence in nature. It's a great thought but given what I know of human shortcomings I'd say the "results" are more a combination of incompetence and fraud. Some people must have made a fortune from the run up in metal prices when Pons & Flash... announced their resulrts a few years back.

I still believe the only real game changer is hot fusion but it's not there yet and maybe never.

This is NOT Cold Fusion but a LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reaction).

The jury is still out on this one - and the evidence so far is a mix of likely and unlikely facts.

There's a thread on this over in the fringe section

Now that I've got the commercial over, here's a recent article on cold fusion

If it's possible, it can be replicated. Indeed, if it were sound science, they should be asking for it to be replicated. The fact they're not tells me all I need to know about the claim and others like it.
