  1. The more I think about this whole Toyota thinghttp://www.nhtsa.gov/PR/DOT-16-11, the more pissed off I get - and I don't even own a Toyota. After a year of trashing the company's cars, the government is just saying, "oops, my bad" and shrugging their shoulders http://thehill.com/homenews/house/143153-o...s-a-year-later-. This could have happened to any car company. I know they're big corporations, but WTF? I know I can't be the only person who feels this way http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/your-world-c...-toyota-apology, amirite?
  2. Bears are already extinct these days so we should value them. The incidents where bears ate corpse and even human is not to be blamed to them. Bears are born carnivores they really need flesh to survive. Killing them may solve the problem but can we really afford to lose them? I guess the government should raise fund to provide foods for them. They can also be transferred to different zoological park where they will be given enough food and proper treatment.
  3. As we all know it. This phenomenon of falling property prices is happening around the world. I suggest that the government don’t allow this information to be further disseminated. For if this keeps on going, people, knowing that prices are falling, instead of buying properties will not do so because of the fear of the anticipated fall.
  4. Ireland is not the only country suffering from this phenomenon. Many countries around the world are experiencing the “fall” of house prices. I believe that the government of every country is striving hard to prevent this for after all it is them that will have a hard time if the “fall” continues. Let us all hope that they will come up with an effective and efficient solution to this soon.

    Ground heat home warming systems

Heat pumps are great alternative to oil-fired boilers. However the prices of heat pumps are a bit expensive and it is difficult to fit in. Another thing you need to consider is the insulation of the property and the heating system size. If these two conditions are not met you will incur high electricity costs to run the system. I suggest you replace your oil-fired boiler with another oil-fired burner because this is more cost effective.

    China and Japan

The idea of building the said ghost city of Ordos is great. The Chinese Economy has gained more confidence for investors because they have increased their GDP by investing on this project. However the future city they have built has no people yet which gives it no economic activity. The people of the original city of Ordos, despite having a strong will to live there, cannot live there because the prices of the units there are very high. That’s why the buyers are merely investors which buy the houses not for their use but to resell it at a higher price in the future. Actually they don’t think of chine as a dwelling place but rather a place where they can put their money.
  7. Based on my observation this is because more people are choosing to come back to the rental market. The reason behind this is the fear that further price reductions in the housing market may occur. Another reason is the difficulty of obtaining a mortgage since the credit crunch in 2007. I guess people should not anticipate the outcomes, for their anticipation worsens the phenomenon further.

New form of Life... uncovered by NASA

This discovery is really amazing since the Arsenic is a harmful substance and yet it has produced life. This Discovery has opened a new door to the scientist which makes them think that the requirements for life’s building block are more flexible than we thought before. Some of them are also being excited because of it being produce without Phosphorus. For them it is a great discovery because Phosphorus is very difficult to find. I hope that the further studies being conducted on this bacteria will bring us more good news.

    Solar Panels guarantee 5% return

It is a good idea to give a 5% return on solar panels but it is a better idea to just cut off the tax on environmental items like energy saving light bulbs, environment friendly detergent and the like. Because these items, unlike the solar panel which is often used by those who have their own house or the landlords, is used by more people in any level of the society.

Beijing Property to become Broken China

The reason for the rise of the prices of property in China is their high liquidity. However the government is wheeling out an array of administrative measures to deter speculative buying in a sector that accounts for about a quarter of overall investment. I guess their economy will remain strong for output and new orders showed no sign of suffering from the government’s campaign to cool the property sector.
  12. In my opinion maybe the crash is brought by the mindset of the people that real properties will appreciate in value. Because of this belief investments for real and estate properties fluctuates. That is why lots of houses were already built but is not yet occupied. And economics the rule is the greater the supply of the product is compared to its demand, the lower its price would be.
  13. DrBubb, the concept behind new urbanism is really great. I really like the way it is because people are very much positive on this. I guess it is because we live in a fast-paced world and we need to do everything we can in order to meet our daily obligations or responsibilities whether in family, work, career and etc. This New Urbanism is an epitome of a new neighborhood unlike what we have before.

    Renewable Energy Sources

Actually, there are tons of it on the web. Try to be patient when researching because you cannot just get all the information you needed if you will just focus on 1 or 2 sites alone. Make expand your research and think of the possible situation and even topic that will pop up on your mind if for example you are the one to ask questions.

    The Fuel Cell thread

This is one of the good news I've read. Anyway, this will be a win-win situation for everyone. Hope it won't end that way and I'm hoping also that it will continue to prosper. Thanks for sharing.
