    LOL!

    Don't forget the 144dma.

You know funnilly enough, every last gold bottom, all the commentators, newsletter writers thought gold would make one last push lower. Right now, I can't find a single one who thinks gold will go any lower ... you know what means ...

The markets have been in sync with seasonality to a tee this year. Given this, I reckon we still got another 3 or 4 weeks until gold bottoms.

  2. CP, are you about? NNVC on the move again and this time it is not due to our man Patrick Cox sending out another newsletter. General expectation of news to be delivered next week....

    Hi DS

Thanks for the reminder. I just emailed him.

I think its just been building energy for the last few months. Distribution. Maybe this will be the move to break out?

What news do you think it could be DS?

  3. The great advantage to these nanoviricides is that they act outside of the cell. They simply float around in the blood stream mopping up the viral load and stop the virus from invading other cells. As a result if there is no toxicity in their mouse animal model there is a very good chance there will be no toxicity in Humans either.

All the results to date have shown these things work in mice. It seems it's always this Dr Menon who does the work though so I would feel more comfortable if other could replicate the results. The collaboration with Eva Harris went some way to doing this although I believe that was tissue culture only?

In any case yes phase 1 should hopefully be OK. If we get to phase 3 the speculative fever surrounding this stock will be intense. If we get there I intend to take some more money off the table. I might look back on that as the dumbest move of all time but as I say so many companies die after failing at phase 3 so you really have to sell some in to that strength.

Anyway good to see more news coming out. The thing I really want to see is them finally getting this pre_IND meeting lined up and that bl**dy website sorted out!

I shall email Dr Seymour bout this bl**dy website. It is unofficially about 90% up. I shall see what other info I can spill out of him.

I was looking at Renovo. You know, you could have spreadbet this with a guaranteed stop, set at 12.5% away. Maybe I could do this with NNVC when/if the time calls.

  4. Our man Patrick Cox will no doubt have another letter out shortly and we know what happens when these get released :) SO yes there might be an opportunity to trade in and out here.

As far as the longer term goes: They were talking about a pre-IND meeting with the FDA a few months back. This is usually a step taken before phase 1 trials. Do we have a time scale for this yet?

I used to work in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry and know from experience that anything can happen. I mean just look at my foray in to Renovo! That looked a dead cert then inexplicably failed. Fortunately I got out a few days before the crash as I have seen to many companies crash and burn when late phase trials fail. I'm riding free shares in NNVC now so I'm a bit more relaxed.

It's looking good so far but why on earth have they not got their embarrassment of a website sorted out. They promised to have it presentable over a year ago!

Haha! Yeah, the website. Good point.

I have been reading what is required to proceed to Phase II trials. So, given all the testing and results NNVC has, they should fly through phase I, possibly just go through to phase II. But, as you say anything can happen (and a lot more ... A am yet to be tested on this biopharma stuff, just going on what I know!).

From what I gather, the highest risk is in Human trials. The drugs can produce high levels of toxicity not observed in animal studies. Or in Renovos case, just don't really work.

    What is your opinion?

  5. Nice chart CP.

Here's the latest from AllAllan. I think it's fair to say that he is pretty bullish :)

    http://allallan.blogspot.com/2011/05/nnvc-last-chance-to-buy-under-100.html

    Hey DS

The more I learn about this outfit, and the more I examine this chart, the more I think I should buy a few more of these?

I've been doing a lot of reading into these FDA trials. Intuition tells me they will fly through Phase 1. All the work is done. Essentially, a safe ride to Phase 2 trials?

  6. All but two were in the age range 44-56 at interview in 2009/10. The other 2 were in their 60s.

I think this age range and upwards is inevitable if you're looking for people who have made several million as portfolio investors, ie without selling a business, inheritance, a lottery win, or very high earnings.

Sorry, I was referring to the time of the year. Think in terms of astrology.

  7. Up in to the resistance zone we go. Time to trade out some free shares in the hope buying my lottery ticket back cheaper in a week or so? What do you reckon CP?

I don't know DS, sounds like a gamble to me :lol:

On a serious note, it has rallied into resistance this time, rather than pop like the last two. So maybe this time it will be different?

  8. Here is a previous explanation;

    R2-R1=G1 R3-R2=G2

    G2 - G1 / G1 X 100 = % Gain (Value - Cost / Cost X 100 = % Gain)

So to work out R4 I took R3 and added the % Gain.

I hope that makes sense. I actually think that R4 is going to be broken very soon, Manipulation in the market by the bullion banks is going to make TA useless.

I truly think the gold cartel and bullion banks have made such an obvious pattern to make people sell when the line was reached. I think they are just trying to clear out all the small fry so that they can make all the money for themselves.

Buy & hold ignore the daily noise.

Nice chart Pix. Would you be able to reporduce that with some moving averages? Say 50, 76, 144, 200, and 252?

  9. I think Adam has fallen into the trap of looking too much at linear charts. As I recently pointed out the current increase doesn't look half as over extended when you look on a log chart.

Although my silver timing has been absolutely terrible, I would tend to agree with you. Look at the price action on SLV on friday to see what I mean.

Pix, what's your 2011 target for silver?

  10. The Chinese have encouraged people to buy gold before. The rationale is simple: they need an inflation outlet. Better gold at $100,000/oz than 1-bed flats in Shanghai at $1,000,000 a piece.

Now think of the Yellow Sea of Chinese savings trying to go through the tiny hose of the international gold market. The resulting prices will be spectacular.

GF, any time I begin to question if gold is overheated, I can always rely on your comments to put me back on the right track. :)

  11. The term of the mortgage will be long and I think the chances of a crash happening this year or next are now gathering steam-despite that it looks like the opposite.

The big question is How long can the game continue?

The crash which everyone appears to be waiting for, may not happen. It may just be the case that rents will continue to rise to the point where it is cheper to buy than rent. While house prices remain weak in nominal terms, and falling in real terms.
