Back to HPC I posted on a silver revival thread by Fortune saying whats the point and mentioning this site. Looks like I'm barred over there now after about a dozen posts in total!

I posted on the "Phantom Silver Thread" earlier suggesting posting on here. Been deleted. I don't know whats been going on over there but you precious metal worshippers seem to have been upsetting the hierarchy

Never sold and its back above $20. Still might so the proceeds can go into the wifes pension and fire into HOGS & CATL when the price dips further (see thread in Agri section). I've not sold any bullion as yet either physical or otherwise but at $20 thats a good profit as never paid over $11.

Probably should have sold Silver yesterday above $20 - didn't get chance. DM's email this am expects a drop to maybe $15. Way above the 200 day MA. I view more as an opportunity to add to my position.

Good - HPC seems to be the opposite end of the spectrum to the Singing Piggers! Slightly off track (but on a precious metal theme) I might unload some silver via Goldmoney.

Anyone know when and where Silvercapital will be listing? Looks an interesting way of investing in silver.

As an addendum to the above I have established positions in bullion (silver and gold) over the last 18 months and hold the following silver stocks: SSRI MIO AGQ HOC OVG and gold stocks GG MCR HIF

I am starting to research Canadian silver mining juniors with a view to establishing a small portfolio. The genral consensus on here is that AIM is a rip off and that the TSXv is the place to invest. I am looking to open a new account with TD Waterhouse to trade the venture exchange. JP had interesting comments on investing in Canadian juniors today and the different stages that a mining company passes through. Kimber currently looks interesting. Have mentioned this on the Bullion vs SLVR thread but worth a mention here. On the radio show this week JP mentions he loaded up on Silver on Friday. One to watch this week.

SLV can be bought on Squaregain - I also use goldmoney. Bought all physical last year from a coin dealer locally. Tried to buy physical from the US but most dealers wouldn't sell. Canada probably the best bet - I was quoted by a Canadian firm not including VAT. Unfortunately my laptop blew up recently so I haven't got the email but they should be easy to find. They would ship in 100 oz parcels - up to you to declare and pay VAT You could also invest in silver stocks to gain exposure - I have SSRI, Minco, Ovoca (silver mine in Russia), just bought Arian for wifes pension.
