We are also a group which is hungry to learn. So if the markets or the economy turns in a new and unexpected direction, GEI members will be quick to respond.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADVERTISE here, let me point out some other aspects of our advertising proposition. At the moment, there are only 4 advertising positions: one 244 x 76 Button, positioned next to the GEI logo, 2 x small buttons (121 x 30) underneath, and another large 244 x 76 button next to the Google text ads.
If you look carefully, you will notice something unusual within (actually next to) the ad images. There are tiny buttons labelled "thread" and "gei thread." This is a GEI innovation.
We are a chatboard, so we also want to give our members an opportunity to comment on the products and services offered on the site.
Each of these buttons, when clicked, will take the user to a GEI thread which discusses the company, its products, or the services of the advertiser. We expect that these threads will help to raise awareness (beyond what comes by placing the ad on the site), and will also give the users (and the curious non-users) a chance to post comments and questions about the products. We plan to start a thread for each new advertiser when they sign on, and also to comment from time-to-time. These threads can provide a valuable source of customer feedback.
Our advertising rates are reasonable, and are mostly done on a flat price per month basis.
