But it is perhaps the CNN footage at the end of the video that displays the flagrant arrogance with which mainstream media treats Ron Paul. Some day these media outlets and their handlers may be held accountable for their outrageous contribution to the ruination of America.
Very possibly because of his views on Defense Spending.
They following is from a work-in-progress...
"Holes in American Pockets : Little protection against Military spending
One of the few major politicians that was willing to discuss the growing power of the military, was Ike Eisenhower, who probably had the best military credentials of any modern President. Even Ike left this issue until his farewell speech, when he could do little but warn the country. Although that speech was 50 years ago, his words seem prophetic now:
"Our military organization today bears little relation to that known by any of my predecessors in peacetime, or indeed by the fighting men of World War II or Korea.
Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.
This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist."

Stunning words, which almost no present-day politician would dare speak. Amongst the current crop of presidential candidates, only Ron Paul speaks about bloated size of the mlitary, and asks the question: Does it truly make us safer? Ron Paul's assertion is that America's massive global military presence and its warlike activity actually threatens the safety of Americans because it creates enemies. Strangely, many veterans support Ron Paul's presidential ambitions, and yet the mainstream press fails to take him seriously. Questions are now being asked why this is the case, as we saw recently on Jon Stewart's program. Are mainstream media outlets somehow being compelled to under-report Ron Paul's campaign? This is a question that needs asking. Perhaps the "unwarranted influence" that Eisenhower warned about has become so pervasive that it even plays a heavy role even in Presidential campaigns."

My advice when thinking of the Media bosses:
+ Dont buy their newspapers
+ Dont watch their TV programs (including their professional sports matches)
Let them know that "their news" is not the real news, and is unwelcome
