Tom Valone is a respected pioneer in the Free Energy sector.

He has taken a few hits along the way.

Here's his presentation for last year's Global-BEM conference,

he looks at how the mainstream view Free Energy

Some bizarre and interesting things here:

+ Nuclear batteries

+ A "wet surface" that generates kinetic energy (at 29 mins in)

I think the people behind the conference are worthy and good, and they invite credible presenters,

even people like Catherine Austin-Fitts and Richard Dolan.

They are worthy of support, and

If feasible, I may attend their 2014 conference, coming up in October in Boulder, CO.:

Joel Garbon : Why we need New Energy Testing Protocols

=

=

Vast majority are "Honest and Well Intentioned"
Common Problems:
+ Inadequate understanding of science, by the inventor
(who fails to consult with, and use real experts)
+ The wrong testing instruments
+ Misinterpretation of testing data
+ Inventor cannot get serious funding, because "serious investors" all have science advisors,
who are risk-averse in the field of Free Energy (based on the historical track record)
Solution:
+ New testing instruments and protocols
+ Made available to both inventors and technology advisors
+ Agreement (by a credible group) on the test standards; these folks can be a Technical standard

+ Real funding to get more than just casual volunteers

+ Scope of Work: people needed who have debunked claims previously, and can provide a List of Common Errors
+ Protocol development coordinator to provide oversight
+ Those inventions that Pass Muster, and are VERIFIED would find it easier to attract money
Outcomes:
+ Less time wasted on not-promising technologies
+ Limited money and effort can be focused on the most promising technology
Cost: Maybe US$50,000 +/- $25,000
===
Joel G. recommends:
+ Read Breakthrough Power : http://breakthroughpower.net/Media.html
+ Volunteer to organize educational events
+ Help with donations, and fund-raising
+ Start a local Energy Group
RIGHT NOW:
"It's a philanthropy of Time, and Dedicated service."

Free Energy and LENR - Here come the really serious investors

It seems that some Free Energy devices may getting set to move out of the garage and into the factory - and everyday reality.

That's the conclusion I came to when I heard that an established industrial-oriented private equity investor has bought out the scientist, Rossi, who invented the E-Cat. The investor is called Tom Darden, and here's what Forbes says about him:

Tom-Darden-150x150.jpg : Cherokee: http://www.cherokeefund.com/renewables.htm
Mr.Darden is the Chief Executive Officer of Cherokee Investment Partners, a private equity fund that invests in brownfields. Cherokee made its first brownfield investment in 1990 and has since raised five funds: $50 million in 1996, $250 million in 1999, $620 million in 2003 and $1.4 billion in 2006. Beginning in 1984, Mr. Darden served for 16 years as the Chairman of Cherokee Sanford Group, a brick manufacturing and soil remediation company. From 1981 to 1983, he was a consultant with Bain & Company in Boston. From 1977 to 1978, he worked as an environmental planner for the Korea Institute of Science and Technology in Seoul, where he was a Henry Luce Foundation Scholar.

I heard about the transaction on Sterling Allen's latest podcast for the Rense network:

MP3 : http://mediaarchives.gsradio.net/free_energy/hr1061214.mp3

Here's more on the transaction:

A North Carolina based company called Industrial Heat LLC has come out and admitted that it now owns Andrea Rossi’s ecat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) technology. Industrial Heat has put out a press release in which it confirmed rumors that it had spent $11 million to purchase Rossi’s device.

Aerial-2011_8605_PR-300x199.jpg

The New Home of the Ecat an aerial view of North Carolina's Research Triangle

The press release also confirmed speculation that Tom Darden of Cherokee Investment Partners a North Carolina equity fund is a principal investor in Industrial heat. It stated that one of Darden’s associates J.T. Vaughn is the manager of Industrial Heat LLC. Industrial Heat LLC is based in the Research Triangle region around Raleigh, North Carolina where many technology companies have operations. Cherokee’s website describes Vaughn as a Senior Analyst at the firm.

What's LENR / Cold Fusion ?:
LENR stands for Low Energy Nuclear Reactions — and refers to the phenomenon where anomalous amounts of heat are created when certain metals (e.g. nickel, palladium) absorb hydrogen or deuterium and an external stimulus such as heat or an electric current is applied. The reaction takes place at relatively low temperature and sometimes results in transmutation of elements as well as the production of heat. Either no strong radiation is produced or it is absorbed locally. The waste products are not radioactive. This phenomenon is also referred to as Cold Fusion, LANR (lattice assisted nuclear reaction), as well as other terms.

A real Bombshell, if this is a reliable report

The United States Navy has figured out how to turn seawater into fuel and it will cost about the same as gasoline.

http://www.addictinginfo.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/naval-battlegroup.jpg

This technology is in its infancy and it’s already this cheap? What happens when it’s refined and perfected?

Oil is only getting more expensive as the easy-to-reach deposits are tapped so this truly is, as it’s being called, a “game changer.”

I expect the GOP to go ballistic over this and try to legislate it out of existence. It’s a threat to their fossil fuel masters because it will cost them trillions in profits. It’s also “green” technology and Republicans will despise it on those grounds alone. They already have a track record of trying to do this. Unfortunately, once this kind of genie is out of the bottle, it’s very hard to put back in.

There are two other aspects to this story that have not been brought up yet:

1. The process pulls carbon dioxide (the greenhouse gas driving Climate Change) out of the ocean. One of the less well-publicized aspects of Climate Change is that the ocean acts like a sponge for CO2 and it’s just about reached its safe limit. The ocean is steadily becoming more acidic from all of the increased carbon dioxide. This in turn poisons delicate ecosystems like coral reefs that keep the ocean healthy.

If we pull out massive amounts of CO2, even if we burn it again, not all of it will make it back into the water. Hell, we could even pull some of it and not use it in order to return the ocean to a sustainable level. That, in turn will help pull more of the excess CO2 out of the air even as we put it back. It would be the ultimate in recycling.

2. This will devastate oil rich countries but it will get us the hell out of the Middle East (another reason Republicans will oppose this). Let’s be honest, we’re not in the Middle East for humanitarian reasons. We’re there for oil. Period. We spend trillions to secure our access to it and fight a “war” on terrorism. Take away our need to be there and, suddenly, justifying our overseas adventures gets a lot harder to sell.

And if we “leak” the technology? Every dictator propped up by oil will tumble almost overnight. Yes, it will be a bloody mess but we won’t be pissing away the lives of our military to keep scumbags in power

Clif High posted that last month

USNavy knows what i (and a few million rishi) know: Water does not exist. Water 'molecule' cannot be found. Instead all of water is ONLY energy in form of highly complex lattice structures fleetingly and energetically binding two gases. Thus the idea of using the water lattice energy structures themselves as a fuel source. How these energetic lattices provide 'suspension', and 'dilution', and anti-gravity is still unknown to the Navy researchers. Our data suggests that a [new electrics break-through] is pending in 2014 when [sympathetic resonance mapping/tapping?] will be announced. (5/23/2014)

Here's a more recent posting

Navies love water, of course! But usually to be on it, or under it, or flying over it. So what is it about what is happening to the water on this planet that has the US Navy's Space War Center sooooo intrigued? Something to do with why some experiments work sometimes, but not others, when water is the focus of course? Hmmm....If we outside are ignorant of the ex-pan-sive conundrum, perhaps en-lighten-ment will be shinning down upon us this summer (northern hemisphere)?. SGFs suggest that a whole lotta light is going to be spread around the planet for a number of years causing all manner of thingeys to be scurring in their dark corners. And it all relates back to the [unknown energies from space] linguistics that first begat the SpaceGoatFarts entity just about a decade ago. (6/11/2014)

Three Hours with Dr Kaku (Feb. 2014)
===========
+ Authored more than 6 books, and co-developed string theory
+ "String theory" (1-inch equation) could be a crowning achievement
: Introduces notion of 10+ dimensions
: Can be tested with Hadron collider
: We don't use scientific method, we use seat-of-pants accidents (1968)
: Like E=MC^2, we have a simple equation, a "theory of everything"
: We want to see/create a "super force"
+ Newton is still relevant, we use it in the 3D physical world
: Beyond the planet, we need Einstein, but "even that is not enough"
: The theory of Relativity is "the theory of the big" > stars, etc
: Quantum theory is "theory of the small" electronics, nanoparticles
: BUT: these two theories don't like each other
: STRING THEORY brings the two together : only one that does
: The theory came 100 years early - has dazzling math
: Quantum theory works, by reducing things to probability,
- but so many things about it are counter-intuitive

That's the right sort of sum: $25,000 - 50,000 to aim for.

Over $1 million is not.

Serious money does not take these Go-Go Funding campaigns seriously.

Anything that makes sense and appears to work will get reasonable funding.

QEG made no sense at all. The whole resonance idea was misunderstood from start to finish and it was obvious that what they had done and what they were talking about totally did not reconcile at all.

The cold fushion 60 minutes was very interesting, but what you need to see is independant replication of results, rather than checking over a system in Israel for a couple of days and concluding the work was being carefully done. Fairly clearly it can take days of inputting power to get power out so the opportunity of introducing errors is fairly huge. In any case we already have consumer units available that produce more power for the consumer than the consumer provides, which are highly reliable and have very compelling economics. These units are called heat pumps.

Rod Duncan did this talk a week after 60 minutes where he says a little more on the topic of cold fusion possibilities. Obviously the whole thing is at a very early stage of development even if it is real.

Okay on page 7 you can see that they have 6 super-capacitors wired in series. I had to find comparatives on eBay and I'm going to estimate they're 400F capacitors. If they had them in parallel the total capacitance would be 2400F but because they're in series the total capacitance is an 67 Farads. (I think my math is right).

Actually I need to scrap my theory now that I've taken a good look at the circuit diagram on page 15. First of all, this isn't even a proper circuit diagram. It looks like the symbol for a transformer yet it's distinctly different.

The QEG core isn't a normal generator as I thought it was, the QEG core appears to have two coils whereas a normal generator tends to only have one, but the coils are set up as if it's a transformer. One end of the tranformer leads to the capacitor bank, the other end of the transformer leads to the lightbulb bank but not before hitting a bridge rectifier. Given that the light bulbs are purely a resistive load, there appears to be absolutely no need for the bridge rectifier other than making shit more complicated than it is.

So when the motor spins the rotor inside the QEG core, two things are happening simultaneously. The spinning magnet powers up one coil which leads to the capacitor bank for what appears to be absolutely no reason. Meanwhile the spinning magnet powers up the second coil producing AC which then feeds the bridge rectifier.

I mean this is a total clusterfuck. Why is there even a secondary coil leading to the capacitor bank? Why is there a bridge rectifier. Why are both coils presumably linked up via a transformer? Are they actually connected, i.e. if you applied power to Coil 1 would it step up or step down the voltage and an output could be measured in Coil 2?

There is a total disconnect between the description of the QEG by Hopegirl and what the machine actually is and more disturbingly this design makes no sense on any level. I mean it's either purposely been designed to be nonsensical or it's the product of a deeply disturbed mind.

And as regards "self-powering", what the hell would be connected back to itself? Is the plan to connect Coil 1 to Coil 2?

It's not like they're using huge 1F lightning caps or something similar.

Because in that case you're just connecting one end of a transformer to the other end of the same transformer. Are they going to connect Coil 2 to power the motor because then you're just connecting a motor to a generator and that's ridiculous."

. . .

This doesn't even rely on any of the fake "theories" of classic perpetual motion machine designs, this is unorthodox even for OU machines.

All energy is "free". We pay the Earth nothing to suck oil and gas out of it, after all. The price comes from the human labour and skill required to get it out of the ground and make it into something useful. Same for gold really.

There are no free lunches in the Universe. Those who look for them are wasting time. They would learn more by reading up Fritz Zwicky's morphological analysis of engines, if they really want to come up with something new that actually works:

INTERESTING Speculation here

Nigel Ashton says:

Peak Oil is now an irrelevance IF the following is true:

http://www.blacklightpower.com/

In brief, magneto-hydrodynamics can take the high velocity plasma which is created and turn it directly into current, or the light emission from the reaction can be captured using solar panels, again resulting in electrical output. Their figures indicate 2 order of magnitude reduction in electrical generating costs to the nearest cheapest source.

This looks highly disruptive, deeply deflationary and solves the energy crisis permanently.

I would appreciate your comments on the above technology and the hydrino-economy which appears ready for an imminent roll out.

Many thanks, Nigel

PS IMO PV production and hence silver demand will explode.

  • SRSrocco says:

    Nigel,

Thanks for posting that material. I haven’t been able to watch the video on the BlackLight Power yet, but I can tell you the infrastructure of the world runs on OIL. There are many supposed SILVER BULLET technologies that at face value seem quite impressive, but if we look at how they fit into the current infrastructure… they don’t really work.

Furthermore, it takes liquid OIL burning machines to extract the raw material to make these supposed TECHNOLOGIES that will save us.

I am not against new ways and technologies to solve problems, but when we factor in the TOTAL EROI- Energy Returned On Invested of using more technology to solve problems of technology, its a LOSE-LOSE BATTLE.

The more advanced and complex the technology, the lower the EROI of the system.

Sterling Allen of Pure Energy Systems News needs money to keep running PESWiki. Here's the donation page.

If people genuinely wish to move to a better world with free energy and other good stuff like that, please step up and help keep resources such as this alive. It's up to us to pull together and help one another. The governments will do they can to suppress info on free energy and we should show that the will of the people trumps big corporations' self interests.

I won't be donating.

I don't think he's expert enough (to add much to the search), based on many comments I have heard from him

And he hasn't shown Discernment...

-For instance, he said good things about QEG, which he should NOT have supported as he did.

QEG -- Fix the World Organization Interview by PESN; April 3, 2014

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJKE5DJRMFQ

(Others may disagree, and I welcome different opinions here.

And if you feel he is providing something worthwhile, please support him.

For me, I do slightly doubt his sanity, when he says THIS):

. . .

"Of all the challenges I mentioned above, the one that wears me down the most is the lack of healthy financial support. We've been on the brink nearly the whole time, since I started this endeavor more than 12 years ago. About the only exception was in 2008, and even then we were still in debt. But even more than the lack of financial support, I would say that the humiliation of having to ask for donations is not easy on anyone.

I know how valuable what we do is. Why we can't get a reasonable revenue stream going makes me feel like the world doesn't deserve what we want to bring it. If they don't want it, why do I try so hard to bring it? is the thought that gets me down the most.

. . .

Freedom, which is what free energy is all about, can't be given to just anyone... that is the realization I've come to in the past many months, and that is why I've shifted more to talking about spiritual things, coming back out of Sabbatical that I've been on from all things religion.

Unfortunately, this has exacerbated a negative feedback loop. My talking about such things seems to have driven away some of our audience, reducing our traffic, which reduces our Google AdSense revenue, which is our primary source of income.

An obvious, superficial remedy would be for me to just stick to reporting on exotic free energy, so I don't turn people off by this other stuff; but then I would be treating the symptom and not addressing the core issue: we have to deserve free energy before we get it."
